Thank you mate, yes it is go down Matchems lane turn left onto a dirt road where you can park. It is just past Mildren construction. Then walk past the green gate and you will be at the end of the runway!
@@aviation747 ok so most ppe is light plus lack of passengers so no problem for the bournemouth runway, although even if the aircraft was fulla pax as long as it didnt have the max fuel then it should be ok, i live next to LBA with the same length runway which of course sometimes limits what widbodies can fly in.
@@aviation747 LBA is becoming quite a busy airport around 4 million plus pax a year now, this year it should overtake EMA and LPL in terms of pax figures, also since doncaster closed all wizz air and tui flights have moved to LBA. The largest aircraft atm at leeds are A321s so currently no widebody aircraft
When i first heard these a346 wld be cargo and based at Bournemouth I thought surely someone is confused. Not Bournemouth. I stand corrected 😂 Great footage!
They should, to be fair though European cargo arent the only operator of this preighter configured a340 so it could be possible in the future if there is demand
It is a preighter, it has all the seats out and cargo can be held in the cabin but this cargo cant be too heavy as it doesn't have the reinforced flooring like most cargo aircraft. Heavier cargo can also be held in the hold.
@EC-LLE Not just PPE they also did contracts with DHL on the jfk runs that may have heavier cargo. The aircraft will also have lots of fuel onboard in order to make the trip across the Atlantic. This all adds up making the aircraft relatively heavy especially for the runway at Bournemouth and its short length
Fantastic video mate... Really beautiful amazing shots loved it... Keep up the great work bud 👍🏻😃
Thanks mate it means a lot :) I will try!
Beautiful steep initial climb.
it sure was, very impressive to see
Amazing video mate ! Is it possible film from other end of runway ?

Be interesting to know how much freight is carried on these esp as the runway is 2271m long so not the longest.
That is very true, over the lock down it was a lot of ppe, the cabin was relatively full with those flights as the freight was extremely light.

@@easydrive3662 oh nice i need to come up to LBA sometime seems like a great airport. What kind of widebodies do you get up there?

Thank you mate! I was very surprised when they started operating as freighters too!
Wow Amazing lovely Sound!
Thank you :)
They should really do an a340 p2F. Keep those quads in the sky!

Geez that's one huge plane....dirty, but huge! 😁
Just Beautifull, those 4 Engines would've been screaming on rotation.
They sure where it was lovely to see!
This is an ex VIRGIN passenger plane. It is not a freighter. What cargo is carried? In the hold only?

That thing was not heavy
It was fully loaded and heavy by Bournemouth standards due to the short runway
Well, 2,2km rwy, 30 sec take off run, ok... heavy it was for BOH standards.
Geez that's one huge plane....dirty, but huge! 😁
It sure is a beast a very dirty beast that needs a good clean lol
