Finally, someone took the test I needed. I use mine as one of my home defense guns. If it was ever used, all of my shots would be within 7-10 yards. Thank you, this is exactly what I needed.
i carry the public defender poly, and this is my preferred ammo for precisely the reason he stated. its an absolute hammer within 10 yards. and thats all im asking out of my judge. awesome review, thanks for it!
Did my experience with this ammo the slug is not large enough to catch the rifling in the barrel. So it's the same as another buckshot pellet, unless you're close enough that it may open up. I'm not knocking the ammo at all, I just think that needs to be known because a lot of people assume that slug catching the rifling. Great video sir
Since 7 yards is FBI standard, I think this is viable. I think with the Judge its about choosing the right ammo. To me the Judge isn't my everyday carry, a .357 magnum is that, but as a SHTF gun that can take shells and colts, I think it has a place in the gun cabinet. At under 10 years, it'll give anyone a bad day. I can imagine this gun being handy in a 3 on one scenario, that random spray would certainly invoke fear if they saw you had a Judge or Governor. Its a bit of a wild card. Also, when it comes to rats, snakes, rabbits and small birds, it might be nice to have something like this in the woods.

Best video on showing the spread of shot at various PRACTICAL distances.
Maybe the only video

As tight of a pattern as it makes why have 3 shots it just be one. I use shot shells for a bit wider of a pattern in a stressful situation like that
Good video thanks,sold😂

I have the same gun at ready with two colt 45 Hollow point FTX and three Hornaby 410 defense rounds
Thanks - I was wondering what .45 colt load you like ....
I have shot my Judge out to 100yds at a club match. 3/5 (using 45LC loaded at 800fps) on a full size IPSC steel.
With two hands, your 15 yard shot would have been centered. Pattern would still be very effective when centered.
And in single action
Cool stuff, but I can’t wait to see more about the Taurus Deputy!
Judge executive grade - with bobbed hammer??
Why are you shooting one handed
Because I’m holding the camera in my support hand
Taurus Judge SUCKS!!!!! Mine had light strikes. Sent back to Taurus. They returned if. Still light strikes. Sold it. Got a S&W Governor.
suuuuure
i personally have never had that problem with my judge.
