    This was lovely. I liked the B&W video interspersed with your B&W photos. The lack of dialogue was nice, too--viewers see Paris through your lens without any unnecessary commentary. Love the photo of the people sitting on the waterfront. Nicely done!

    This is really incredible work! I dont even know how I stumbled across this but i’m so glad I did. The pacing is so relaxing and you have really captured the feeling of the city to the point I feel nostalgic without having been there. Keep up the good work, i could watch this all day!

    Really nice work in mu city. your pics are great. I have thought a technical question. Are the pic edited ? how do you meter your light. I am strugling with my mp because i have dark pics.. I probably dont have the right method to meter the light.. And i love the contrast and the light of your pics.

      Thank you for your kind words. I always tend to overexpose my images slightly. Take a reading for highlights then shadows and go down the middle if not a little over just to be safe. But I do also edit my images! Some are DSLR scanned which gives TONS of room to play in post. 😊

      questions:
      - what did you film with and did you shoot anamorphic?
      - do you edit your photos?
      - how in christ's name do you manage to capture such genuine human moments?
      statements:
      - this is one of the best unintended travel and tourism videos i've ever seen. the pacing and sound design is spectacular
      - the shot at 4:40 makes me angry with how good it is

      answers:
      - Nikon z6 + 35mm sigma lens + cinebloom filter + GoPro.
      - I do edit my photo! Very light tweaks for black and white mind you.
      - complete dumb luck + always having my camera IN my hand. Not on my body. In fist. Ready to go.
      thank you for these statements too. It really does mean so much to me that you’ve enjoyed it this much and it’s left you thinking haha!

    This is an awesome video and what a pleasure to see your M6 shots. What developer did you use with TriX?

    • @KevCantFocus
      @KevCantFocus  2 года назад +1

      Thank you so much Richard! Glad you enjoyed. So my lab use an Analogico Dev.a with Ilford chemicals. ID-11 at 1:1 dilution is used for most processes, with the exception of high-speed/heavily pushed film for which we use Ilford Microphen.
      Hope that helps!

      @@KevCantFocus Thanks for letting me know. Love your M6 - Voightlander setup. I already have the M3 with a 50mm f1.5 Summarit but thinking of also getting an M6 with either a 35 or 24 Voightlander but wondering if having both the M3 and M6 would be overkill. Thoughts?

    • @KevCantFocus
      @KevCantFocus  2 года назад +1

      I think it’s probably overkill to have two cameras to similar with such similar lenses… BUT I also love to own things that I think are cool / like to look at and play with from time to time so I can tally appreciate the lust for another shiny new bit of gear. So if you think it’ll make you happy and you can afford it, then I’d say fuck it! Why not?!
