I had many Matthews bows for yrs but not a fan of their new limb designed. might check it out. it looks like my Matthews Drenalin but with more options.
MFJJ did a review on the Black Mamba Pro back about 6 months ago. His major complaint was the let off on the draw cycle was extreme. He had the bow jump at least three while at full draw. My Hoyt Alpha X 30 shooting a 506 grain arrow set up produces a speed of 296 FPS at 71 lbs draw. I would love to shoot an APA bow, however, there is not a dealer within 300 miles of me. I love the innovation of the black mamba and really like the fact that the Summit will be priced more competitive. I'm within days of my 62 birthday and I like my bows to drop in the back wall and stay their until I'm ready to send her down range.
@@mikebaker2840 you have to pay for it. And if you do not like it in a week they refund the money. But if you keep it more then a week. They will Not take it back.
This bow is exactly like my mathews monster from 15 years ago. This have couple cool things they do, like the build in bow press, but I hated the monster and I wouldn't ever buy an APA because of the reflex. It would be a good blind hunting bow tho
I shot the black mamba pro last year and was very humbled from All the hype I heard about noise and vibration and insanely rough draw cycle blah blah. It was the fastest, most dead, quiet bow I think I ever shot. Insanely dead in the hand due to the 7075 aluminum riser
Sure appreciate the time and effort into your videos bud….nice job as always…😊
Once again, awesome review! Thanks for the info
Which bow do you like better? The pro or the summit? I shot the 29 and loved it. I purchased the Hoyt Rx-7 the week before shooting apa 29 pro

Great review! I have never shot an APA!
How is it like the monster? I thought the monster was like 4.8lbs bare bow. Draw cycle might be similar
Apa is always interesting to me. Just wish they were easier to get hands on and test out
Email them and they will send you one to check out. If you don’t like it send it back if you like it it’s yours
