- Doug and Rob seem to enjoy talking about Bee Movie more than this movie. Can you blame them? Let's take a look at Hop.
Watch the NC review here - • Hop - Nostalgia Critic
Hop is a 2011 American 3D live-action/computer-animated fantasy comedy film directed by Tim Hill and produced by Chris Meledandri and Michele Imperato Stabile. Hop stars Russell Brand as E.B., the Easter Bunny (Hugh Laurie)'s son who'd rather drum in a band than succeed his father as the Easter Bunny; James Marsden as Fred O'Hare, a human who is out of work and wishes to become the next Easter Bunny himself; and Hank Azaria as Carlos, an evil chick who plots to take over the Easter organization.

Please never stop with First Viewings. They are like the best of behind the scenes and bloopers all in one.
Especially when Rob starts talking. XD
@@98953812 Can't disagree.
What bloopers?
@@motodog242 Well, the underlying, unfiltered jokes.
Wait you love the Bee Movie. That means ya really like jazz if you love it
The Bee Movie is hysterical.
This joke was incredibly forced tbh.
I've always loved Bee Movie
Don't bring Jazz music into this. It's 10 times better than that film.
LOOMING WRAITH OF BAD OMEN Meh, idc. Who cares anyway?
Wait, Doug is 37! He first created the show in 2007, which means in 2007 he was 25 years old. Man, time goes by fast. I remember watching his videos in 2007 during high school.

Hearing Rob's hope for life just be destroyed by the sight of Russell Brand's credit is hilarious.
Yes
The factory scene is so satisfying and pretty couldn’t that be the entire movie instead?
Chocolate _Cake i believe that already exists as a show called “how it’s made” 😂
Yea, but it has annoying commentary all the way through it, a d it isn’t half as colourful.
@Chocolate _Cake Yeah, but that would have required the writers actually caring and a bigger budget.
How did you guys get through a whole conversation about killer rabbits and not make a Monty Python reference?
Or a Night Of The Lepus reference.
Tis a silly place.
That rabbit's got a vicious streak a mile wide! It's a killer!
"Do you wanna know why he was the perfect choice for this? He said yes."
I scrolled to this comment at the exact moment Rob said it
The main human character's dad is also the dad from I'll be home for christmas.
He plays the boss in office space
He was Lumberg from Office Space and Mr Brady from the Brady Bunch movies .
All perfect movies
The weed boss in the pineapple express
That's Gary Cole and he also voices the titular character from Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law and Dr. James Timothy Possible in Kim Possible
Kind of _really_ makes you appreciate Hugh Jackman as Bunnymund honestly.
Rise of the Guardians is such a great holiday movie, and Bunny still remains one of my favorite holiday creature designs (along with Tooth).
Wasn't aware that people had problems with Hugh Jackman as Bunnymunnd. In fact, I think there are quite a few people who appreciate Hugh Jackman as Bunnymund a little too much if his fanbase is anything to go by.
in rise of the guardians?
I think the movie rise of the guardians is a good movie. It was nice to see a fresh take on the Easter bunny, Santa clause, tooth fairy, sand man, jack frost, and the boogey man.
Hey. That masterpiece doesn't deserve to be in the same breath as this dumpster fire.
10:47 Holy shit I just noticed that the bunny’s reflection doesn’t turn around. Was that an animation error or was that on purpose?
gboi gamer woah..
Probably on purpose, because you can see the reflection move when EB does.
gboi gamer Obviously an animation error. Because like every other shitty live action/animated hybrid film, the CGI Animation is shit with no effort put into it.
@@ZemeckisTEN and yet the reflection moves differently.
Keelan Barron Yeah. Because the so called “animators” of the CGI Animation for this film clearly don’t give a shit and, like everyone else in this film, along with every single other shitty Live Action/Animated Hybrid Film, are only doing this to make a quick buck.
Hey! David Hasselhoff was great in the Spongebob movie!
I love first viewings

I love how Doug genuinely likes Bee Movie X'D I've always loved this movie so I'm glad I'm not the only one!
I like it too. It’s so underrated. Definitely a movie the critics got wrong.
I love that movie too! Probably one of the funniest animated films I’ve ever seen!
It's definitely a great movie to watch with friends and maybe have some beer too, or maybe honey mead XD
Yeah, that movie was _fantastic._ 😊
This makes me want to rewatch Rise of the Guardians. That Easter Bunny was a bamf.
Also... Bee movie? This is totally lowest grade Willy Wanka.
Willy Wanka? Sounds like a rap name
Or Willy Wanker. That sounds like a porn name.
Of course the Easter Bunny in RotG was a BAMF. He's voiced by Hugh "The Wolverine" Jackman!
My guess is that he loves how ridiculous it is. Just like Lady in the Water 😬
Cas LeGault Both are great
And now James Marsden is going to be talking to a blue hedgehog.
That guy has to be smoking weed.
Just hope that movie is going to be good than this.
@@dastvan8002 dude shut the fuck up

Dastvan you gotta separate the wheat from the chaff. Most “bad” sonic games are usually below average mediocre not horrible. In terms of media I doubt the movie would change Sonic’s already negative rep.
But like I said the few diamonds in the rough or in this case GOOD games show a lot of potential that people want to see more.

Are those supposed to be good?
Mr. Styro The Secret Life of Pets was good. Sing was meh at best.
Sing is a poor man's Zootopia
Secret Life of Pets is a poor man’s Toy Story
I remember my dad and i went to the movies to see this. I was 12. Had no idea they went to the playboy house 🤣 wonder how my dad reacted because stuff like that around me makes him so uncomfortable
Hop : What happens when you combine Alvin and the Chipmunks with Bunnies and Easter .
HELL
Hop.
This was waaaay better than the chipmunks.
Speaking of Alvin and the Chipmunks (other than both movies having the same director), Hop also existed by cashing-in on the financial success of Alvin and the Chipmunks.
@@Niagaranobs As well as the director of Muppets from Space (the first and most praised feature film he ever directed), Max Feeble's Big Move, Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties and Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever (as well as The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run and The War with Grandpa).

He should watch the 2007 version too.
Shak or the early 2000’s version aka Witcher with a micro budget
The 07 one isn't bad. The 1st half is solid. 2nd half is kinda snooze.
@@Rodan16 I actually like the 2007 one
1:30 Imagine if immediately after the Russell Brand credit we got Doug’s “hero”

Alvin and the Chipmunks, Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties, this, Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever, and the recent release The War with Grandpa. Hopefully Sponge on The Run will be good.

1. They also did the joke with all the bubbles in the tub in Disney's "The Game Plan".
2. I honestly think Fred's Easter suit reminds me more of Willy Wonka's outfit.
Speaking of dark imagery....I think the critic should review The nostalgic classic Igor anybody agree

Bonus points, it was directed by Tony Leondis, and his next film was... The Emoji Movie.
Doug, you've signed a contract. We will hold it against you until the end of time - You have to review the Bee Movie.
What? Cyclops is in a Movie with the Easter Bunny as a main character? Next you’ll be telling me Wolverine’s doing the same thing next year!
that slitting his throat joke got me good🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
Putting the opening 3 minutes on a loop for the runtime of the film would probably have been a more rewarding experience.
They didn’t mirror the image of E.B. When Russtle Brand entered the dressing room...
Oh dear God, it murders my soul.
He was talking with himself, and you would know it was not an editing mistake if you actually watched the movie lmao
I never noticed this, but at around 10:47 I don’t believe that’s how mirrors work?
