Actually in Arthurian legend before Lancelot headed to Camelot to become one of Arthur’s knight the lady of the lake gave Lancelot a magical ring that repeals any kind of magic so that’s probably why nanashi magic didn’t work because maybe the lady of the lake gave Lancelot a artifact that helps him repels any kind of magic it’s possible that the artifact is his risk bands that he wears
THIS also Lancelot is the Strongest knight or round in Arthurian law his never lost so all this makes sense to me. You just gotta enjoy the story for what it is and just admit Lance is the BEST!!!

Lancelot looks up to his dad cause remember the type of weapon Ban uses in fights acquires him to be Ambidextrous...that's why I think Lancelot trains with both his hands to use weapons. Also if you going to be a character with a title like Knight of War etc...means likely you will have knowledge and skills on all weapons which some weapons would be Twin/Dual wielding types.
Couple things: Dabuza is Dubs, but they keep switching between the names for w/e reason so makes sense. Love the possible explanation of Lance’s power, but I think there’s going to be a limit to how much he’ll absorb which will be his handicap like when Melascula taunted Ban about not absorbing more power with physical hunt. Lastly, I loved every single thing about this chapter 🥹
I think Nanashi is...BASE WISE... comparable to that of top tier goddesses like Mael, Ludociel and even Elizabeth...but again if they don't have graces. This just gets me more hyped hoping for a GODDESS CLAN ARC.
Tbf the 4 archangels and Elizabeth are the only top tiers Nanashi is 6th strongest in the goddess clan (not including the SD) or even stronger than Elizabeth since she's a glass cannon and her holy magic wouldn't work on nanashi

I’m trying to think of ways the stakes could be raised. Maybe the chaos portal teleports everyone to different locations in the realm? Lance either needs to get separated or handicapped because Nakaba just scaled him above archangel (according to Schwarz) and then gave him a sacred treasure-level weapon. The other three don’t even understand their powers. Tristan JUST figured out he could combine light and dark, Gawain doesn’t even know how to fight up close according to Pellegarde, and Percival’s kind of in the same boat where he’s still figuring out how to use a sword and Lancelot said his magic is still too unstable to rely on while he was training him.
Lancelot is the opposite of ban, he’s more magic, hax, abilities, speed and reflex based. Ban is more durable physically stronger, has more stamina and his fighting is physical based
I know I'm late but all I got to say is I'm not shocked because Lancelot literally fought one of the strongest sooooooooo him fog walking another strong character is not shocking but still a great fight. P.S I knew his use of his left hand wasn't a big deal.....I mean I wasn't expecting his answer but it's funny and I like that response anyway.
