    This thing is awesome and the Hester’s elka shocks are no joke the best thing you can do to a teryx. Transformed my brothers t4 from a log wagon to a legit trail machine

    Talking about being wide,…I run an HCR kit on a 2012 T4 LE with a 2+6 wheel offset with 10” wides front and back. There may be an of the tire inside the wheel well.

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  2 года назад

      Yup, should see a HCR with portals lol, like 80+" wide haha

    Now unhook the sway bars on the KRX (like the Teryx) to get a apples to apples comparison...

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  2 года назад +1

      We did state it would clearly go farther, but if you drive a krx with no sway bars, you better be crawling or going slow, its sway is all over. This was just to prove how massive of an upgrade this set up is from a buck board wagon stock, to KRX level ride and performance, no to go directly after a KRX.

    This video has made up my mind to get it. I'll be calling tomorrow. I have 16" of clearance on mine now. is there way to get more? I would like to get it up to 20" or close to it.

      If you are wanting to go that high, we have many set ups to achieve that, but it will not be a standard Long travel build, give us a call and we can go over that with you and help you build what YOU wish.

    Already running 30” carnivores. With this set up and the 32” tires, does it rub the bed at full flex/ with pple in it and how does the machine itself like the bigger tires. I had cryptids before and they where too heavy imo for the teryx stock clutches.

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  Год назад

      Honestly 30" is the sweet spot, that what we have on our personal T4 with this set up. With 32's you are MAXING out the machine unless you run portals, you want to do at least a 1" bed lift and you have to run the steering stops in the steering box, with 30's you don't need any of it and turn tighter. A good clutch and it's a beast! But we help you with any scenario you wish.

    Will that setup fit on 2024 teryx 4 S LE model or is there an option for the S models for increased travel and stability

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  3 месяца назад

      For the "S" model we build all 5 stages of JUST shocks, If you want the MT Long travel yes it can be made to fit the S, but you do have to relocate the Rear upper shock mount to where a non-S is and the correct tie rod parts. We have all that info as well. This build has the chain of videos in the description. Just give us a call and we can go over your parts needed and wanted. Many options to select from to build YOUR set up.

      no real issues, but if you run lots of electrical quite often for long periods, a second battery OR upgrade the main battery to a larger one, like the Yellow top Optima #34. Check out more of the Teryx Playlist and you will see builds with that on it, as well as dual battery builds.

      It is easy to mount a 2nd. "full size" battery under the drivers seat. I got the battery isolator from amazon and a deep cycle battery locally. Now i can run everything ( lights, stereo, winches...etc. off the 2nd battery and never have to worry about being able to start it with the factory battery, plus I can jump start myself if i had to. I don't trust the factory battery for my stereo, or 5,000 lb. winches. the winches have more power now too.

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  Год назад +1

      Not covering up, not there. Base models only have 2 halogen headlights, only the LE's have quad LED's. The base model is the same core machine, just without all the added factory parts costing more, so it's what we call a clean slate, then you build what YOU want on it. But you have the option based on the color and trim level what to start with.
