No kits per-say, it's just some good ol elbow grease. Header wrap, good sound deadening and sound deadening heat-shield, and re-route the intake out of inside the dash, comes out to cold and quieter Teryx.

Just a shock change is unbelievable on the base chassis, then you can evolve from that, more width add some spacers, want 30s add the arms like the rig on the left we are building. Just a few things really unlocks the teryx in big ways!

anything you want! The platform has been around for some years and there are tons of stuff available for them. Yes it is very easy to address any heat and noise, can make then where you feel nothing inside practically, and mods to intake will totally change how loud that is in the cabin. I can't believe it's truely 30" tires being ideal, seems the drive line/wheel bearings/tiny balls joint & tierods will snap like popsicle sticks
Teryx's are pretty over built tanks. 30s is nothing to everything. For more performance even a stage 1 clutch kit perks it up good, for more then stage 3 and it's a beast. Do our Hester Edition Elka shocks, 30s and drop the front sway bar and it's a beast set up.
Whats the price point on a new S with elk shock and 30s? Also how much does that bog down performance with that tire size? Looking for improved clearance for hunting trails
The new "S" Hester Editions are not out yet, probably by this summer, as for power the stock clutch can pull the 30's pretty good, but you can clutch it for some big gains in grunt and pull 30's like 26's. Nice thing all the main parts are still the same to that's easy to deal with.
No, not till like a 6" lift or portals to be made. 30s is a sweet spot on a teryx. Add 30s and a spring pre-load adjustment and your good fro pretty much anything you point at short from trying to cross a pond.
thinking of putting the same tires as the front on the rears so all four are the same , besides some traction good or bad . then buying one extra to put in the rear for a spare . Is it a good or bad idea ?
We measured and should clear most everything, but soon as I get an S I can test I plan on putting on some 30's and remove the sway bar and flex it out and see how well they clear, I know the rear should do good, probably need to do a bed lift with 30's but I will show all that when we can get that done. Thank you
No we have not, it would take everything from the frame out, shocks and all, relocate rear shock mount and new custom tie rods. For the cost difference you could just do our long travel set MT set up, or for far less, build it like the one in the back and change the arms, and shocks and blow the S away.
If you keep the stock wheels on the teryx 4 s and go to 28/10/14 tires how wide would the teryx be? I want to stick to the 64 inch width trail restriction. Also can you do this without adding wheel spacers to keep square setup?
