Sometimes is really hard for me to difference between neoclassical metal and power metal or symphonic metal, someone can tell me which are the differences between neoclassical and the other 2 subgenres?

Power Metal is basically just faster metal (that occasionally uses synths). Symphonic Metal is metal that uses symphonic instruments but is mostly metal. Neoclassical Metal is very directly derived by classic metal and is usually classical music with a metal sound.
-Power Metal is a fast/so melodic heavy metal with lots of double kick, it's usually prety technical too. . -Symphonic Metal is heavy metal with so much strings, as if a symphonic string orchestra were behind. If you remove those strings it's plain heavy metal so the strings is a must for this genre. . -Neoclassical metal uses classical progressions, classic alike melodic lines and it have that baroque alike air. it does not need strings but manytimes it have them. It melts the classical with the metal and so its not "just heavy metal" and its not "just clasical music" . -... and there's also that posser thing of play classical music with metal instruments and I dont think it fits in any genre
My favorite genre of metal ever! Sadly, I don't know about any bands that play this style of metal that are active in 2020. If you know about some, tell me!
@@ardabkc I recommended Galneryus still active in 2020, but they're not purely neoclassical, they claim to be neoclassical power metal, a bit prog too. One of the best Japanese metal band, still worth to check them out.

It's neoclassical, because they are rediscovering classical music.
