- Needed to cut into the front cross beam in order to fit the 3050 as it was over by 1cm. Also cut a rivet and had to come up with a solution for threaded screws. Ended up removing the front USB, audio and power switch to fit the Pico PSU. Other challenges also occured sigh. #pcbuild #nvidia #gaming #miniitx #pcbuilder #pcbuilding #pcgaming #gamingpc #itxbuild #pcbuilds
I watched your first video yesterday, I’m glad to see you figured out how to get it all together even if your cooler didn’t work out. Should be awesome finished!
Good luck with that fancy copper Thermalright cooler!
Thanks glad you watched along ☺️
Wait. There's an all copper small CPU cooler? Can't believe I never heard of this. Also probably would've went for a Ryzen build.
I honestly thought about switching but the motherboard cost so much that I wouldn't get much for it now lol
i was working on pico psu + rtx 3050 6gb 3d print case
@@shady_universe nice 👍
Hi, just so you know, I have the i5 14600k running on AXP90-X47 Full Copper, undervolt it quite hard, limited the power limit to 130W and it runs cool for a low profile cooler with a K series processor. 89C max, cinebench score dropped by 1000 but single remains the same. Quite happy with it actually and I can bring my 6.2L pc anywhere with me. I think you could achieve the same thing with some undervolting, hope this helps!
That's good to hear thanks will see !
What peak power source did you use? I want to put a 5700x3d and a 3050 on it. I have a custom case made from scratch and I need the font. I don't know which one to put :(. I also have a 150W Xbox 360 slim power supply, but I want to buy a 230W one and see if it is compatible with everything. I'm using a translator, sorry if something is not understood.
@@carlosmejia2050 I truly understand what you meant. The PSU part is the most crucial thing in a PC build, without it your computer won’t even turn on, so never cheap out. I think you can probably achieve the setup using Pico PSU. 5700X3D and RTX3050 is pretty much a very efficient combo. You could limit the PPT on the 5700X3D to 100W and set Curve Optimizer to -30 All Core. Bout the RTX3050, the max power draw is 70W. All I see is a 300W PSU is enough actually.
