    😂LOL ! Hey Christian and your brother. "Bear season right there. Honestly, what we should do is just toss these at the campsites of people we don't like. Yeah, anyone who gave us a dirty look on the trail." Now that was funny! My sons and I spent a couple days on the Chattooga Foothill Trails in the Burrells Ford area a few years back, but we didn't plan on fishing. It was a challenging trail, to say the least, but we really enjoyed it. Would have enjoyed seeing that big one you lost. Now after watching you guys, I want to go back there again and do some stream trout fishing! Have a great one!

    Fantastic change from the norm. That's the life right there. What else is in the river there other then rainbow, brown, and brook trout? Kinda funny to watch you get smoked in freshwater for a change...lol

      Thanks Eddie! Pretty much just the trout and some small sunfish and bass further south. We did see a few decent sized sucker fish, but by far the biggest things we were seeing were trout!

    great video work,beautiful location.i would have liked to seen the larger trout that was stripping line.i was on that river using a dry fly and saw the fish slurp it.felt like i was snagged then later the line got wrapped around a rock and fish was gone.

    Nice trip and video.
    We’re in the process of planning our first trout trip here in NC (we mostly fish the coastal waters of NC (puppy drum, trout flounder and sheepies) and go to Santee several times a year). This video got me pumped up about making a trip soon.

    Would those first boots work on Jetties ?

    • @MakeTimeForFishing
      @MakeTimeForFishing  Год назад +1

      I'm no expert on jetty fishing but I know spikes are important. If felt/small spikes are recommended I'd say yes because the boots are well made and really comfortable.

    You would not have lost that fish if you would have tightened your drag up and reel the fish in instead of sitting there playing with your drag loose trying to impress your viewers on RUclips with a loose drag that is totally ridiculous you could have caught that fish easily.. you know it I know it and I hope half your audience knows it.. you are my favorite fish in channel to watch but come on Jason that was just ridiculous

      Haters gonna hate. 4lb mono is almost as weak as they make fishing line. A 2-4lb rainbow trout could break that easily. There is no choice but to keep the drag lite here. And, who tf is Jason?
