All cursed items have negative effects. Some negative effects are fine as long as they do not affect the build. The cursed rings have negative effects that can be used to make specific builds stronger. Example: The 'Thistle Ring' has a 'Take/Deal damage on Damage taken' passive. It is not highlighted in red because the passive is a gamble. You can either take incoming damage or deal outgoing damage when you take damage from an enemy. This ring will have a negative effect on builds that do not complement this passive. I am currently working on a build that takes advantage of this specific rune. Will post that build in a day or two.
@@robiplays Thank you for the detailed explaination. I understood when i actually acquired a cursed ring. I thought there was no negative effects because i didn't see any "red line" in the item description.

Rings are mostly random drops from chests. Sometimes 'Grinnich' the vendor in town sells rings.
