I think November December and January are most difficult because I get tired. From February I'm happier. Early autumn is a very good time for nature with many colors and emotionally too because if it's always summer, it'd be boring. Hooray for four seasons!

Like you I can‘t wait for fall to come 🍂. I don‘t like summer at all, the heat, the „extrovert“ vibes of it. I much prefer the quiet and melancholic vibes and the coziness of autumn. Since I am a huge introvert and homebody. A lover of books as well ❤️. My next book will be „My year of rest and relaxation“, which you have read as well, if I remember it right? 🍁🍂🍂

Autumn is also my favorite season. Where I live now, summer is very long and it doesn't begin to look and feel like autumn until the first part of October. I look forward to the cooler weather, being able to wear boots and sweaters, and not worrying about making the house too hot if I use the oven.

Hi Kimberly.... Thanks for the video. I struggle with reading, despite my medication. It helps with a lot with a lot of other things, like positive symptoms, but 2 minutes after I start to read I lose concentration, it all becomes a blurr 🙄 I love the warmth of summer and being able to be in nature but i also love the darkness and cosiness of fall and winter, it makes me feel safer and less paranoid...
Love the video thank you so much ❤️🤗

Just watched it and it was wonderful :) I am not the best decision maker at times either...hope you enjoy the book you chose to read. Hi Kimberly, I just loved this vlog of yours today. (I do love them all but I love and Autumn also and when you cook!). I want to make the pumpkin muffins and soup! I make Olive Oil muffins and my son and grandson love them. They are so easy to make and healthy. You always give me the inspiration that I need. I put The Secret History on my TBR list. And I finally got back to Agnes Grey. Wow what a bunch of horrible children she had to deal with. Im in the middle of it now so I think I will be good to finish it soon. I also loveyour book reviews. Kimberly, I remember last year when you were starting The Secret History, and I wrote to you about how I'd read this 30? years ago (or more?) and how much I loved it as well. And you inspired me to check it out of the library at that time. It is still as exquisite as I remembered it to be! And I'm so glad you are courageously picking it up again. The nice thing about loving a book, even though it ends, is that you can always pick it up and read it again, rather than waiting to putting off enjoying it now. Happy Early Autumn! Always love your videos. k :)

I love your videos. I am from Canada and I have experienced psychosis. What kind of tea are you drinking? Not finished watching the video yet, but I wanted to say that I also want to read Crime and Punishment although it may make the anxiety creep in as this kind of literature does. I think the prose is clear in most English translations. I experience ambivalence also. If you do read it, will you make a video about it? I have read others of Dostoevsky's work such as Notes from Underground (a short work) and another that I don't recall right now. Actually, I think that a single stand alone chapter (called the Grand Inquisitor) from the Karamazov Brothers is available as a book in English. If reading the entire book right now feels daunting, that may be a good place to start. I haven't read it (or maybe I have haha) but it is like a story within the story. I will look into the Japanese book that you mentioned in the beginning as I am drawn to tragic stories and I know loneliness. I think Jane Eyre, also a lonely but headstrong and brilliant heroine, is excellent and worth re-reading because the protagonist is a model for us in redeeming herself through struggle and self-creation despite being fundamentally misunderstood and the story is rich in symbolism. Briefly stated. This Secret History sounds crazy. Why aren't you finishing it? Let us know if you do. I had to laugh when you called yourself an idiot (I don't condone it by the way), but that's another Dostoevsky work to consider. I don't know how people make up their minds on what to read without an imposed structure, or they just follow the path of others who have come before them.

thank you! 😊 In this video I was just drinking a chai tea. and if I decide to pick up crime and punishment I will most likely include a review and talk about it in a vlog like I always do 😊 Im definitely going to look up that stan alone chapter, thank you! also love they way you describe Jane Eyre! makes me really int he mood to re-read it!
