This took 30+ hours to make, looking for videos and editing. This is all to help the referee community as best as I can. All I ask is for you to learn and share with others so that we can all improve in our rule knowledge ❤
I really Appreciate you! Rules become easier when you explain them. KUDOS!
7:31 Double foul. I personally hate faking so I don't see why giving them both a tech would be bad.
i totally agree - i think these sort of flops are hilarious
Thank you. Highly appreciated. I'm visual learner and have hard time learning from text. This is really helpful.
When I read a rule and do not understand it, I jump right to your channel to check if you have the video in your channel. You are gifted when it comes to explaining the rules. And the way you demonstrate with the videos is just amazing!
Thank you! Means a lot! We have a lot of other videos planned to create but it takes time, happy I can help!
@@refereeuniversity thank you again! I am gonna steal your method to teach my fellow officials in my country(Mauritania)
@@oumarsy3485 Thank you for sharing the video! It means a lot! Happy I can help support!
Salamat in tagalog 🇵🇭 Philippines.
Thank you in English for this video.
I truly appreciate FIBA's immense effort with the rule updates year after year. They continue to make the game better by refining and improving the rules in step with the times. But damn they really need to get an experienced, native-English-speaking copy editor to overhaul their shit.
I have had some talks with FIBA about their terminology but unfortunately, nothing transpired from it
Thank you from Belgium! Just subbed.
Love this channel! Great way to find out these differences.
Great job!
Felicitaciones por vuestro aporte, sería factible si nos ayudarían realizando un video en idioma español o traducir el mismo con subtitulos en español estaríamos muy agradecidos. Y vuelvo a repetir felicitaciones y sigan adelante cob vuestro trabajo... 👏🏽👏🏽🏀🏀🏀👏🏽👏🏽
Veré qué puedo hacer
This is exceptional. Thank you
Sir i hav a question- Is there any 10 second rule is added in new version of FIBA rules specifically when 1,2or3free throws are awarded?
Nope, Free Throw Shooter has 5 seconds to attempt the free throw when it’s at their disposal
Thank you!
your explanation is way better than what was conducted by FIBA webinar. Thank you for your work.
Thank you! It means a lot!!
Same here. Using this video as my main source of information.
Well thanks so much for this video bro
I have one question for you: 18:54 If HC or player dont leave game for 30 sec . What to do next? Give time-out for that team? Or give the B?
And I have August Fiba webinar video, If you need I can share this.
Great question, I haven’t found anything currently on it (maybe it will be in the new OBRI to accommodate this new text in the rules). I would imagine it would be the officials judgement to use tools at their disposal. A timeout is reserved for smaller infractions of a delay, I imagine in this case since a DQ is more severe, they would look at delay of game technicals or potential OBR 20.1 actions prevent the game from being played that could have the team forfeit.
@@refereeuniversity Bro I think I found this Rule:
Article: 19
19.3.6 Substitutions shall be completed as quickly as possible. A player who has committed
5 fouls or has been disqualified must be substituted immediately (taking no more than
30 seconds). If there is a delay of the game, a time-out may be charged against the
offending team. If the team has no time-out remaining, a technical foul for delaying
the game may be charged against the head coach, entered as a 'B'.
@@mindaugasbalsys8301 love it! Thank you!
Sir i hav a question-Is there any 10 second rule is implemented in new version of FIBA rule? Specifically when 1,2,3 free throws are awarded to any player.
Thanks alot for your content, and the effort you put in!
Very well explained sir... ❤
great content
Do they call the "fake a foul" a "LeFlop"? Asking for a friend from L.A. 😊
