    I love epaper, I can't wait for it to get to price parity with OLEDs.
    Typically beautiful Volos interface !

    I really like your idea of drawing the graphics as just one static image instead of a series of line commands and icons.

      Yep, much faster

      It is a good approach. You could take it further and use a server to generate the view of different dashboards and just display on the device. Use the toggle switch to navigate dashboards.

      I couldn’t tell what software you used to create the graphics. I’ve used Paint so far but it’s very limited. Photoshop might be too complicated.

      @@ryanpipkin8476 I'm working on something similar. Dashboard constructed out of html pages with routing and interactions. Server side rendering of the pages and the pressed states of the buttons + compressing it and storing it in ESP32 PSRAM. Touch interaction + navigation between the different states. It's just a prototype for now but the goal is to make it a smarthome dashboard...

    This looks GREAT! Excellent video, ty! I have a unique system need for a super low-power self-reading weather station in a remotely placed camera housing, it cannot have any external communication & must be fully self sufficient. I'm wanting to use ESP32 if possible. I love the ePaper for low power draw, I need the computer to read an EXTERNAL (outside the camera housing via wires) thermometer & hygrometer readings (every 10-20 seconds?) to calculate the very accurate dew point. I then need the computer to read a separate INTERNAL (Inside the camera housing) thermometer, and then I need the computer to control a relay that sends 3A-4A 12V to my internal heat strips to turn them ON & OFF so that my glass window remains "5 degrees" above the current dew point. I need to be able to adjust the "Degrees above Dew point" to fine tune the system for various conditions & locations. I'd also love to be able to control the time of day or night that the system is allowed to heat my window. I am trying to prolong the life of my battery as long as possible as I will not be able to even go check on the camera for days or weeks at a time. I'd like to eventually extend this to months. Any advice? tyvm

    I might just take this and adapt it to be in the place of an electrical socket/switch and have it on 24/7 and update faster, can I make API requests every 5 mins?

    Hello, thank you for your video. What about a battery life? How long it will stay battery on one charge ?

    The price of the display on Ban good is £77.0, so it is outside my pocket price, like your other projects.

    Hi! I just got an M5Paper unit today and installed your weather app. It is awesome. Do you know how I would convert the SHT30 temperature data to Fahrenheit? I know it's a stupid system but I grew up with it and it's what the news reports here.

    • @VolosProjects
      @VolosProjects  8 месяцев назад

      it seems there is no function to recieve temp in F, you will need to matematicly convert it in code, here is forumla for converting 0 C to F
      (0°C × 9/5) + 32 = 32°F

      I tried to put the formula into the code and it didnt work. Do you know where I would put it and what that line would look like? :)@@VolosProjects
