- I love E-Paper displays and I have used them in many Arduino Projects. I have found something amazing. An all in one 6” color e-paper board. It has everything we need. Let’s see what it offers in detail.

Looks like a great display alternative for long battery life with a solar-cell. However, the update time is a little long for a critical alarm indicator warning. 😎 Thank you.
As a long distance hiker, it would be nice to put maps+guides on something like this, since we often go a week without opportunity to recharge.
11s is a long for reading text -- can it do a partial refresh?
No, unfortunately we can't do partial refresh on the color one. If refresh rate is an issue you can check out the b/w ones. The update time is about 1-2 seconds.
OK,all is nice,but…….Very Expensive. Maybe we can see this as the price of confort😊👍🏻

Yes, that's the price we have to pay for color. b/w displays have about 1 sec refresh time
E ink displays are great, but they lack a important feature. If the controller has some issue, the display still retains the image as if nothing is wrong. How to avoid that?
