- Maharashtra कैडर की 2022 बैच की IAS Pooja Khedkar का मामला सामने आने के बाद, सोशल मीडिया पर UPSC में EWS और OBC आरक्षण के दुरुपयोग को लेकर चर्चा हो रही. Khedkar पर भी फर्जी OBC सर्टिफिकेट लगाने का आरोप है. Drishti IAS Coaching Institute के संस्थापक और शिक्षक Dr. Vikas Divyakirti ने UPSC में OBC और EWS आरक्षण की खामियों पर बात की.

The biggest misconceptions about EWS is that if income is less than 8 lakh, than they can easily avail EWS, but that is wrong. There is also several other criteria needs to fullfill to become EWS, i.e Size of the house, Size of Agricultural land, other plots etc.
There are so many people whose income is below 8 lakh or even very lower than that but due to these other criteria they can't avail EWS, that's the harsh reality.
Bhai jisko chahiye usko nhi milta hai. Aur bnwane jaoo to 10-20chhakar lgana pdta hai. Uske baad bhi nhi bnta agar Paisa nhi hai to.

This is not only in upsc... Har exam me ho raha hai. Mere school ke do batchmates ki story bataata hun 2018. Batchmate 1 - father is bank clerk - he got (mnnit) because he didn't clear the cut off of general category. Batchmate 2- father earning around 60lpa - he got iit Delhi in first attempt through SC qouta (his score is around 61 percentile -). Matlab kya hai iska if your father is earning huge amount of money, why there is need to take reservation benefit. Iska baap tou gatar nhi saaf karta tha. Fir kyu reservation liya. Reservation hatane ko bolo, tou bolten hain reservation gatar saaf karne wale ho diya jaa raha hai. Bichde varg ke liye hai. Bahut kam hi honge jo backward class se aate honge (rear). Max achi khasi income wale reservation lekar, deserving candidate ka seat le jaaten. Reservation ki jagah saari category ke cutoff marks jodkar eak common cutoff nikalo. Fir karo compete. For backward class unke liye kuch limit hona chahiye aur alag category honi chahiye aur jaise abhi general me koi category wala aake seat le jata hai wo new policy me nahi hota chahiye. Isse deserving candidate ko seat bhi milegi based on common cutoff and fixed seat bhi rahegi aur actual reservation candidate ke separate cutoff hoga. Try to understand.

He is completely wrong here, if the father of the candidate is in group A service before the age of 40, the candidate will continue to remain in the creamy layer even after the retirement of his father. Means no benefit of OBC

200 Percent correct, more than 90 percent log sabhi reservation either cast wise, ews etc are happily enjoying their reservation while they know very well that they are not entitled for that.
To put in short
1.India needs to move towards a more market oriented economy than corporate cronyism.
2.Religions get weakened when capitalism thrives, so when Religion will be weakened, untouchability will be a very rare case and reservation wil be a history.
3.Private players need to be given space along with mid and small size businesses.
4.Capitalism will save India and government needs to be smaller and reserved. Fiscal deficit and taxes must be reduced. LTCG should be flat 2%.

Medical leave and leave without pay is explained wrongly. There is no such term leave without pay in the central government. If you take medical leave, salary will continue to occur.

I have nothing but fathers 20k monthly salary,I applied for EWS going through thorough scrutiny, regular investigation (whole family income details including i) and multiple interview(2-3) despite of having nothing but little salary of father and I need this the most,but these officers, ex corporate workers, getting easily.
