I’ve been traveling for the past three weeks so only watched your videos sporadically. The last I’d heard about Casper is that he’d been rescued. Today I’m home and just watched your video and I am so sorry to hear about his passing. I do love the stories about your animal tribe, so I’m sad he’s gone. And on another note, I love “just because” projects. Thanks for another winner!
In between projects and a mountain of scraps,I’ve started making scrap book covers for my stitching books,and I did some slow stitching on them and embroidery,they look quite good😍love watching your channel !!!❣️

As soon as I opened RUclips today, I saw your Absolutely Beautiful, Gorgeous page and I had to go here first. Within moments, I realized I did not have such an A. B. G. doily, but I could add stitches to those that I have! I don't know if that's what you were saying, I'll have to replay for that morsel, BUT I don't mind that a bit. I'm going right to my workroom to get started RIGHT away! But first, I am very sorry about your cat. He was loved. 😢❤😢

I liken it to whooping cough - children are so susceptible to it as are elderly. Your drawing of the mannequin dress is exactly what I was thinking. I think it will be stunning! Also, this piece you're working on today will be a treasure for Susan. She will love it. BTW I'm viewing this video on Wednesday. They always come out at noon. I've got a Facebook friend in Melbourne and I never really know what day it is or what time it is there! I love this! I have some old doilies, bits of tatting, and one vintage embroidered vanity scarf. I may incorporate those in the Roxy challenge. Did you do this vintage style embroidery or did you find it somewhere?
Yes add you pieces.. blend them in! That piece I purchased from a little old lady. I hunted out a few for the French garden path.. didn’t use that one.. shame to leave it in the cupboard., time to gift her on!

Ah a council is a group of elected people that oversee services for our citizens.. within a small local area to where I live.. we have 3 levels of Government Federal government ( they rule Australia lead by our Prime Minister) State Governments ( I live in one of the 7 States in this country lead by our Premier ) Queensland And the group I’m referring to in that video is the Local council.. ( within my state there are heaps of small councils each lead by a Mayor ) looking after local issues All of the different government groups look after different tasks .. I hope that makes sense

A stapler is good to hold pieces in place. I stick myself with pins.
I love layer cakes and charm pack. I don’t have such a hard time cutting them up like I do with yardage. I love the look of this project.
