I had this when I was little. My sister and I listened to it a lot. Even 40 years later, we still say…”She pointed a long boney finger at Princess Rosebud’s cradle” and laugh. Thanks for the memories.
I listened to these often when I was little and I would spend the night with my grandmother. She passed away in July, 2018. Thank you for sharing these.
I'm so happy I found this! My Mom had bought me 8 of these and this was my favorite. I was 7 and had my tonsils out! I remember a particular difficult recovery and my mom wanted me to be be resting so I had these and puzzles. Thank you again!!! 💟
I remember, listening to this on audio tape when I would go stay with my grandparents. This wasn’t the only one that I had though. I also have ones like Jack in the beanstalk, the selfish giant, the ugly duckling and many others. I’m glad some of these stories have been shared, because they definitely bring back a lot of childhood memories. I also remember that there was one called the elves and the Shoemaker, and that was my absolute favorite.
Yessss! I finally found this! I'm 41 now and I remember having this with 6 other books or so. My brother and I would listen to both sides. I can't find anywhere to purchase. I still have a cassette player lol
Superscope Storyteller tends to use classical music for its audio dramas; this isn't the first time they've done so. The Ugly Duckling was also set to music from Tchaikovsky: Swan Lake, to be exact. I personally like this approach. It's especially fitting for SLEEPING BEAUTY.
epicrapfan73 Yep! That’s what it says. It uses selections from classic pieces from various classical composers like Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Bach, Mozart, Stravinsky, and Strauss. The narration for this one was done by Ginny Tyler who was formerly a Disneyland Story Reader, and also a Disney Legend. Hal Smith another Disney narrator was also did parts as well before he became a narrator for the Disney Read-Along series.

Lol! My brother and I mention certain things from this book as well. Mostly the Spanish side. We had the bilingual books.
My brother and I still say " hahaha , we'll see about that!" Lol but in Spanish. Definitely good memories! Haha

0:06 is missing the opening narration, but he should’ve said “The Story Teller Presents” or “The Superscope Story Teller Presents”. Make up your mind.
Yes they are. There's an edition that on one side has english and on the other side spanish.
