Tronnor was my otp, back when it was a thing, and felt so heartbroken and sorry for Connor, whenever he mentioned the words "breakup" and "depression", in all the videos revolving around his book, note to self (which is one of my favorite books I've ever read). At the same time though, I'm proud of Troye for still being able to live the life he wanted to live, and was able to find someone new. At this point in time, I still love, and look up to, both Troye and Connor equally and immensely; the only difference is that instead of shipping them, I've been looking up to them as individuals. I do hope though, that if Connor does end up listening to this song, and listens to what Troye has to say, that he would accept Troye's apology. Not only that, but maybe one day, the two would be able to meet up, talk things out, and maybe even go back to being friends, like they were before they were dating... or at least, maybe the both of them would be able to finally move on from the things that happened between them.

Yeah, the breakup really hit Connor very badly it seems and it took him some years to get over it. Maybe he never really will get over it completely, but instead will (or already has done) come to terms with it.
