They showed a tech demo, but on 32 Bit, and it will first have to be ported to 64 Bit, and then the ICP network's nodes are not AI ready, for lack of accelerator hardware. While TAO can access a tonne of compute power, ICP's AI only exists on paper. That is why TAO is worth as much as ICP.

It is the reward for providing intelligence/computational power to the network. You will have a subnet owner who will create the parameters of the subnet and what is essentially trying to be achieved. Miners will then provide computational power to run the model (of the specific subnet) which they are rewarded for in $TAO. Validators will then verify this data and will assign weight accordingly to miners who provide the best outputs. Validators are then also rewarded for this in $TAO (they also use computational power to verify and grade the outputs). As a holder you can stake to one of the many validators for a good yield which can give them more weight to dedicate to subnets/miners. I'm not very bullish this bull run with icp jerry because of the inflation and token unlocks there will be more sellers than buyers that sucks. But maybe in 2030 after the next bull run we could be looking at somewhere between 500-1500 icp. Not in the short term I'm afraid. maybe somewhere between 50-100 this cycle and I feel that will be difficult.
