Hey, I replaced my thermostat with a slightly lower temp. It was a good move but if you decide to do this, I suggest to get the lower temp thermostat for the cooling fans, too. I noticed on mine that it was running a bit cooler but I'm sure that I can get it a bit lower by having the fans kicking in a bit earlier. I live in NYC the summer temps can get high and the humidity makes the bike run hotter than I like. My Futura RST-1000 has both thermostats lower and it runs so much better. Food for thought....hehehe
By the way, I used the Mercedes Benz coolant on the Tuono and the VW coolant on the Futura. I didn't notice any difference in coolant performance.

Thanks Matthew, no I havent had any issues with the fuel pump so far.
My fuel pump died at 8k miles in a 2010 Tuono R same paint color scheme.
nice vid. Do you have a lot of problems with this bike or not? I'm looking to buy one but I read quite a lot of horror stories on some forums.
Thanks bro, tbh I cant say I have had many problems. Before this I had one other issue. An suspension link broke when I drove over an speedbump, i dont know how but I managed to save the bike without crashing! the engine and gearbox is pretty bulletproof in my opinion. I recommend buying one, the riding experience is extraordinary.
@@GeertgtiHeey ik zag in een van je andere video's dat je ook uit Nederland komt. Het linkage systeem is idd een puntje van aandacht. Het geen waar ik mij het meeste zorgen om maak is het elektrisch systeem. Het doorbranden van de stator met name. Welk bouwjaar is die van jouw? Ik ben momenteel een beetje zoekende wat voor motor de volgende wordt. Het is nu een beetje de twijfel of het een ktm superduke 990 wordt of de tuono. Vandaar ook de vragen over de betrouwbaarheid van de Tuono.

Ik heb qua elektra echt geen enkel probleem ervaren tot nu toe. De motor komt uit 2008. Heb je inmiddels al een keuze gemaakt of nog zoekende???
If you buy a nice one, you shouldn't have any big problems, but it's funny how they came from the factory with beasicle no rear brake power, because rear brake slave cilindar pump not working properly. (not working at all...)

Rare vraag misschien wat ik je lengte ik zit ook te kijken voor zo’n aprillia maar wat ik verder kan vinden is dat het een bike is voor langere rijders klop dat ik ben zelf 1.80
Tis absoluut geen kleine fiets, met 1,80 kan je er prima op rijden.
Hi ik heb dit issue nu met mijn 08 Tuono (zelfde kleurstelling!). Hoe kan ik testen of dit werkelijk een kapotte thermostaat is?
Uhm goede vraag, ik zou niet weten wat het anders zou kunnen zijn eigenlijk.
