    Yes. Yes it is. After years of "upgrading" to flagships, I thought, let me try "something cheaper." I bought it unlocked in U.S. from Best Buy on Verizon for $179. My main goals are a decent camera and long battery. The camera is definitely better than I expected. Pixel level, no, but more than enough for a budget phone and as good as flagships 2-3 yrs ago. And the battery is WAY better. Which, is honestly most important to me. So, as a non-gamer, I honestly can't tell much of a difference for everyday use - and I'll take the extra battery in exchange. Which just makes me think: why didn't I do this way sooner instead of even looking at the $1200 phones? I'm very happy. Thanks, Nokia. And thanks for the review for everyday users.

      Yeah buget phones now are really good for normal use especially with the inclusion of SD card support that many of the "flagship" phone doesn't have.

    Was choosing between pixel Samsung a series and this. I'm presently happy with the Nokia. Decided to try something a little different after my s9 screen broke for seemingly no reason.

      @@rythmaterI'm a pixel fan and love the look of the phones and features and the way their version of Android is, but you have to be delusional to say pixels should even be a consideration for a new phone

    • @basedyuri
      @basedyuri Год назад

      @@rythmaterI've had two pixels. Pixel 2 and Pixel 5a, pleasant experience with Pixel 2 overall, but the big problem was the battery. now it was an already dated battery, I believe that model comes with like what 3900 mah battery, but its just an old phone too so yeah. but it became BAD, the phone would turn off at random all the time even when fully charged. I did not overuse it. software was also starting to get buggy, a common problem with pixels

    • @basedyuri
      @basedyuri Год назад

      @@rythmaterthe pixel 2 did survive horrible falls and even falling completely in water, so props for that, but I could not excuse the battery drain and turning off randomly along with bugs

    • @basedyuri
      @basedyuri Год назад

      @@rythmater upgraded to the pixel 5a after, which was about $450 at the time. that phone is kinda old now so the price is ridiculous. but it's more ridiculous since the phone is utter crap. broke twice, from very small, light falls, and both times the display was ruined, meanwhile literally any other phone and device I've used has never been rendered useless from a single fall. aside from that, it had way more bugs, overheating issues especially when using the camera, and finally, bugs started getting more serious later, like the phone doing things by itself like dialing 911, literally wasn't touching it. then dead pixels. mind you, it was repaired once within the warranty, yet I had to deal with everything one more time

      @@basedyuri My pixel 4's battery was weird from the start and after 3-4ish months completely went dead and I had it replaced for 100 bucks. The new one has now went bad as well, at least it lasted almost 2 years but it will now randomly shut down and completely drain in only a couple hours. I've never had battery problems like this with any other phone brand. I've owned honor, samsung, lg, and moto.

    I want to like this phone but unfortunately I have the dreaded camera crashing without any known fix from Nokia. I had to get a third party camera app from the app store so the camera does work now. Also I hate the fact that there's no alert light for messages when the phone screen is off so you have to constantly tap on the screen to wake it to see if you have missed calls or messages. It's a cheap phone for what it is but I think I should've spent a bit more to have a better phone. I basically bought it for the expandable memory and the wired earbud jack which both are getting harder and harder to find on a phone.
