Here, considering how she's right in the depths of that mental exhaustion, coupled with raw disappointment from the results...i guess my main takeaway is I'm EXTREMELY impressed how well she kept her composure and answered all questions with patience and insightful responses. Imagine how Klecker felt after getting hopes destroyed my Mu's mistake that ruined her 800 race and chance to make the team after same thing happening to her last year. Now Elle try to cut her off? No way.
I saw her push ESP and it was vicious…like the “get the F outta here.” People jostle for position in the group on track and while yes, it may be annoying, the reaction was extreme and uncalled for.
I feel terrible for her, but she is being a bit entitled. It is a competitive sport. There is jostling. Things happen. For her to say "I feel like I should have been on the team the last two times" I think is a bit self-revolving. That said, I feel like the trials should have a more elegant way of winnowing the best runners, involving more and smaller prelim heats that are more spread out in time, including have a ten day break before the finals in every event. But that would make it harder to generate revenue from the networks covering.
She was being real rude pushing Elle in the race. Ultimately it was the best revenge when St Pierre surged and she couldn’t hang on. She got what she deserved

Should have been in the front not riding the coat tails letting the front runners tire themselves out so you can kick at the end.
