- Photographing a wild cat, which wildlife photographer does not have this species high on its list? I am in the Ardennes in Belgium with my son Thijs. He really likes all felines and has been asking me for years to go and try to spot wild cats. We have three days to achieve our goals. And we got to see wild cats quite a few times! With many thanks to Jorn Van Den Bogaert who knows this area inside out. If you want to see wild cats yourself in this area, you can find him at Natuurgidsardennen.be

Your enthusiasm is contagious. Got my daughter dabbling in photography and videography as well. The best part is just being outside.
just watched your Vlog on the Wild Cats Some great Photos Jeroen well done. Thanks for the interesting Vlog
I've been in that hide from Jorn as well. On my way there I saw Wild cat in the fields and could photograph it shortly, but never from inside the hide as well. Fantastic place, bursting from wildlife, that beaver reserve is awesome. Great pictures, Jeroen.
Thanks Wouter! There's lots of amazing opportunities in that area :)
Another great adventure making memories Jeroen . Fantastic experience to see the Wildcats hunting. Cheers Keith
Thanks Keith! Was amazing to share this with my son :) Creating memories!
Congratulations Jeroen, a great set of images. Glad to see you were able to get this vlog out. Best wishes for your future adventures.
It was a bit of a struggle... I hope to get something out now and then!
Fantastic Jeroen, what a wonderful experience for you and your son.
So great to be able to share this with Thijs :)
Nice to see the wild cat photos. And, nice to see you enjoy some time with your son.
It's so awesome to share this with him :)
Absolutely amazing !
Thanks Alessandro! A few amazing days...
Beautiful to watch this Jeroen.
Glad to hear that you enjoyed Steve. It was a great adventure togheter with my son :)
I love your enthusiasm and so wonderful you can share it with your son. How old was he when he started going out to see wildlife with you? My son is 3 years, and I hope to do the same with him when he is a bit older. I also learned something, in that I did not know about the wildcat in Belgium. Does your friend hire out the hide - I would love to go looking?
We are there right now! We saw wild cat again, but all during nighttime...
I anyways took my sons with me. Askari during walks etc. And badger watching. So there wasn't a single point in time that I started with it.
Sure you can rent the hide! Contact Jorn at: www.natuurgidsardennen.be/ Please do say where you find him ;)
I really glad you were able to get the wild cat. So far I have not been able to video any here in Alberta. There very elusive for sure.
I was suprised with how many there were over here. Right from the public road... But they didn't liked us watching them :D
Wonderful sighting
Thanks! It was indeed :)
I am so happy for you brother!
