Joaquin is absolutely brilliant in this movie. And the movie is a MASTERPIECE! Will go down as one of the best movies ever made. It truly is art. Did you do a reaction to the final trailer? I would love to see it.
Great reaction! Joker seems to be a true character study film. I'm of an opinion that DC "should" stick to deeper, layered character study art house films that don't necessarily have to exist in each others world. This would truly break from any Marvel formula by this approach. Kind of like graphic novels put to screen. Different stories. Different takes from different writers and directors. Maybe ( a big maybe) utilizing different actors playing same characters in said stories. Just a thought. To that, this gorgeously haunting trailer says a lot in the way it's edited! WOW. On top of the influence from Taxi Driver and King of Comedy( both Scorsese films) I almost feel there's a nod to the Exorcist as well with that angle of those steps at the beginning of this trailer. As he's waking up the steps, his posture suggests a broken man, hunched over defeated by life and in constant battle with his demons. By the end of the trailer, he's confident and now dancing down the steps! Free and liberated because he's been overtaken by those demons to become who he's meant to be...the clown prince of crime. To top the brilliance of Heath Ledger's portrayal, it's going to take the brilliance of Phoenix to do it and an "entire" film dedicated to the character to pull it off. This is what we potentially have in this film and it looks amazing. As much as I was originally on the fence about this project, I could not be more excited! Oscars...indeed!

It shows that you are absorbing the scenes so you can come up with a well contemplated opinion. So respect ✊ Quick question(s): there’s a scene where the Joker stretched out his arms and you see his reflection on the elongated glass in front of him. Is that a two-way mirror. Has he been arrested and left in an interrogation room?
First thank you for the great comment and support. Second....I don't know why but I feel this scene is right after he kills for the first time. What do you think?
I think you nailed it👍. I’m just fascinated to see how it develops. I even went and bought The Killing Joke again. Haven’t read it in years. Keep up the great reviews bro 👍
LOL It’s funny how the world changes. Nowadays they give a warning ⚠️ at the store when you buy The Killing Joke It felt as if I was buying absinth instead of a comic book. Have you still got your copy?
No I'm from the province of Quebec in Canada where people actually speak French so it was a French version of the comic without warnings. Since then I rebought it and read it many times.
This is not canon to the DCEU. It is considered "Elseworlds" in approach. My thoughts: The only thing canon was stated in "The Killing Joke" - The Joker prefers his origin & past to be multiple choice. This movie simply explores one of those choices. I think it is absolutely brilliant for Warner Bros to have Elseworlds movies. It allows for serious in depth character analysis as an art form without any continuity pressures or constraints a shared universe would require. I see inspiration from Cesar Romero, Jack Nicholson, & Heath Ledger if I had to make comparisons - but Joaquin Phoenix stands on his own merit here. His performance looks incredible. This trailer is epic, IMO. They should create an award category for teaser trailers just so they can hand one to "Joker".
Actually, it legit is an Elseworlds movie, Warner Bros just decided not to create an Elseworlds film logo. This Joker is not part of the normal DC film continuity.

This Wanna Make Me Joker In Real Life
Great reaction. I appreciate that you don’t blab through the trailer like some gasbags in other reaction videos.
Actually killing joke is the first batman comic book I ever got. I was 8 and my mom didn't knew how psychological and dark it was 🤣🤣🤣
LOL It’s funny how the world changes. Nowadays they give a warning ⚠️ at the store when you buy The Killing Joke It felt as if I was buying absinth instead of a comic book. Have you still got your copy?
No I'm from the province of Quebec in Canada where people actually speak French so it was a French version of the comic without warnings. Since then I rebought it and read it many times.
if u just smile
It looks amazing. The only thing I’m worried about is I hope their is action, at least some torturing
I'm not expecting a lot of action but I'm sure there is going to be some dramatic/bloody moments.
Trailer of the year for sure....until the new one comes out August 30th 😍😍😍
We had the same reaction dude. And along with all other youtubers who made reaction video
Subbed
Thank you very much
Trailer of 2019
Easy
Actually, it legit is an Elseworlds movie, Warner Bros just decided not to create an Elseworlds film logo. This Joker is not part of the normal DC film continuity.
I will love it just as much if not more hahaha
@@NeuralexLive I didn't mean it as a negative, lol. I love the experimentation, it is exactly what this genre needs.
