You have been missed and I'm glad to see you are back. You have a gift of teaching and breaking things down in a way that makes it easy for people to grasp, regardless of subject. Hope to see more of your vids!
Glad to see you again Bobby and hope all is well with you and yours. Thank you for the heads up on the purple pod peas, our garden space is valuable to us on the homestead, so your loss (lesson) is our gain (lesson learned). Hoping you'll continue posting and sharing your knowledge and experiences with us. Peace brother.
Awesome! It motivates me so much to watch your vids! I am so glad your are back. You have changed alot of peoples lives including mine. Thank you so much Bobby, I have learned so much from your videos and you are the inspiration for my channel and many like it. Thank you so much for the video!!! Hope to see your next one soon!
So wonderful to see you back on here! I had just given up looking after so long and am delighted to find " my friend" back on here. Please tell Susan we love and miss her. Best of everything to you both.
it is good to see you back. you inspire me to work harder in the garden and try new things. i grow tomato in a three bucket hydroponic system last year on the front porch and it worked grate. you throw your videos have positively influenced my life. thank you for your work.
Hey Bobby! I'm setting up my hydroponic system for the growing season, and I have been skimming through RUclips to find all the information I can. Not only have I found your videos to be some of the most comprehensive, informative, and entertaining hydroponic videos on RUclips, but you may also like to know that mhpgardener is cited repeatedly in dozens and dozens of other RUclips videos featuring their own hydroponic systems, often mentioning you as their "go-to source." That's quite an accomplishment to essentially be the king of hydroponics here on RUclips. I'm looking forward to more of your videos. Keep them coming!
Nice informative video, yes I've experimented through the years with different varieties, some worked some didn't, but fun to try. Thanks for sharing, welcome back keep the videos coming!! !! !
Yesss! Your back we missed you hope the negative comments on trump didn't keep you away everybody gets a crazy when it comes to politics your videos bring a lot of value to my life and many others keep it going
It is good to see you back in the garden. Thanks for the review on them. You are right. Taste is the main reason to keep growing something. Best wishes to you and your family. E :)
Grew these for the first time this year here in so California. For what it’s worth I found they did look cool, low maintenance, ours grew about 6 to 7 ft. Tall, had to be picked smaller than green ones or they were stringy, however they were very productive, taste was ok (better younger). Great video thanks
I think you just helped me get well:-) Just broke thru from a high fever and tired of laying around waiting to get stronger. I decided to see what is going on with my channel and saw your video. Not being overdramatic but, I am sure glad to see you back! Good info on peas:-)
No question about it, the taste is everything. Say hi to Susan for me, and it's good to see you. Great video, been working on which tomatoes I really, really like, and it's hard when it comes to tomatoes. I seem to love a lot of them. Bless, Sheila
I don't know where you find the time to plant, tend, and pick all the things you grow. My little garden is a fraction of the size of yours, not even counting the green houses and your raised beds, and some things just get behind or left out. I even do some of mine after dark too. Great job.
@Mhpgardener Great to see you are back!! Your videos are always entertaining! By any chance, do you sell seeds? (mainly peppers such as trinidad scorpion and other hot peppers you use for your spray?)
love the videos! that is such a big garden. what do y'all do with all the extra, give to family, friends, do you can it? thanks for the the great videos and information!
Hey Bobby! I'm really glad to see you've got some new videos. I don't think you have any idea how sorely you've been missed. Please keep up the great videos. I come into contact with lots of people through Craigslist that are starting greenhouses and high tunnels and just generally trying to provide good food for their families and I ALWAYS recommend that they check out your videos, especially your dutch bucket system and floating raft videos. I received thanks back many times for steering people your way. GOD bless and don't be a stranger!
I grew a purple pea too. Peulches pea - French Canadian. I found the real tiny ones were pretty in a salad.... otherwise not great tasting as you said. I did notice they were heartier, and I'd plant them if I knew the patch would be neglected. But, otherwise I'd plant snow peas.
This is a winter crop, The best way is to harvest when they are dry and store them and soak them in water bevore eating. This way it wil taste a lot better.
I've noticed the same thing with many purple versions of other vegetables. The purple are attractive but just don't taste very good. Purple bell peppers, purple peas and (some) beans, purple kale, all of it is far inferior to their "normal" kin in my experience. Awesome videos, thanks!
