EV sales are plummeting all over the world. Even in California where the infrastructure and weather is far better than Canada. I'm crossing my fingers that Trump gets elected
Nobody wants to buy a $50,000 car that has a $40,000 battery that will need to be replaced in less then 15 years.
That means all EV's are totaled in 15 years but nobody says it that way.
He shouldn't worry. He'll be out of a job pretty soon.
The car companies are cutting back on EV. They are just not selling.
There is a reason the EV car makers are choosing Canada because other countries ain't that eager to subsidize and have them because they are not worth it.
They will sell when you have no choice. There have been talks to force banks to only allow financing for new EV’s.
@@thepigmanlives6721 The EV mandate will be rolled back because they won’t have a choice. Trudeau won’t, but it will have to be scrapped. Canada is a large and diverse place, not a one size fits all.

Well unless you are totally challenged You would realize that Canada is far too cold a country for an electric vehicle that cannot recharge in temps lower than 0 Celsius and we have millions of mice and squirrels ect that would make comfy beds out of the battery heating blankets Plus the fact we have nowhere near the infrastructure to support the charging of these vehicles We already have brownouts as it is and they want to build millions of new homes to add to the problems ? Until they can provide an electric vehicle powered by its own reactor that wont need recharging Canada will have to keep relying on the ICE vehicles As They haven't even thought of changing our diesel electric trains to work on full electric Like the trains in Europe run on ? But i can remember them getting rid of the electric busses in the 80s lol
We have new electric buses in Edmonton sitting in storage as they aren't working.

Protectionism against cheap Asian EVs and at home corporate welfare, equates to ev's remaining luxury toys for the rich ... so what's the point environmentally? Open the markets and regulate "Right to Repair" so we can at least have a trickle down domestic cottage industry keeping these things going.
