That Willcocks arrangement of the Widor is simply astounding! Bravo to all of the musicians - choir, organist and orchestra for doing such a terrific and inspiring job. Program in general wonderful as always.
Yes, I heard it this morning. Unbelievable, taking the idea of a Bach chorale to the next level combined with the already spectacular Widor. Bach used the E-major violin Partita as a similar perpetual-motion movement for solo organ. Willcocks uses everything in the orchestra except the tam-tam. Wonderful !!! NO ONE sings like this choir !!!!
