- Savannah, GA! A very historic and quaint city with so much charm. It’s only a two-hour drive from Jacksonville, just past the Florida-Georgia line.
We made a stop at one of our favorite restaurants in Savannah, Paula Deen’s The Lady and the Sons. This is one of just a few restaurants she owns featuring her many southern recipes. It’s an all you can eat affair and the food is so delicious😋
Paula was in the restaurant a couple day’s prior to our visit so we missed her but our daughter would love to meet her one day. You must make a stop here if you are ever in Savannah. Don’t forget your appetite!
