    I have 6 pedals on my board. Mostly analog, with the exception of my polytune and Digitech reverb. I use a one spot daisychained and never have any problems.

    Slightly over seven minutes of talking before the real world comparison was a little too much for my taste. Could I respectfully suggest that you minimise the talk and include more comparisons? I think the talking could have been wrapped up in 60 or 90 seconds max. Just an observation that is well meant.

    I use the Fender Engine Room 12 output on a Fender Pro board. Great gadget. Comes with power cables but not pedal jump leads.

  • @JuanLopezmusica

    I have the second example (with noise fixed) I tough it was something bad with my cables. After trying several times and changing cables to see it that was the problem. So I guess is a normal thing with analog pedalboard right?

    I find well filtered power does just as good as 'isolated' I do not have power issues with my home made powersupply that distributes power from a 19V dell supply. The positive is isolated and the ground is not. I never have ground noise.. this is yet another possible mojo myth. Spending 100 bucks on power supply is excessive....... why anybody would buy Strymon power is beyond me...

    Daisychaining my One Spot worked all winter. Now everyone in my apartment building is running their AC on full blast and and my pedals on my second board are buzzing like crazy. My first board with an isolated power supply is silent as a sleeping lamb.

      Very true. I have a one spot which works fine with 6 pedals. The trick is to avoid the big digital pedals with it.

    • @Crescent_Audio

      Exactly, I have 3 truetone 1spot daisy chains and 3 Seperate boards with no issues, and a couple digital pedals.

    • @thebreakfastmenu
      @thebreakfastmenu 2 года назад +2

      It's all use-case scenarios. One spots can be fantastic if you're using a couple true bypass analog pedals. But a building with bad wiring, external interference like air conditioners, or pedals that draw a lot of power will leave nothing but noise in your signal chain.

    • @10sassafras
      @10sassafras 2 года назад +1

      @@thebreakfastmenu Well, I haven't experienced it. Strymon pedals seem to be obvious offenders and I don't have any of those. As per the TrueTone advice, I daisy chain from 1 spot to the tuner (most LEDs) then to all other digital then to analogue. Zero noise for years. Currently 7 pedals connected but up to 10 in the past. If it ever becomes an issue then that's the time to spend the dosh. Just a waste of money otherwise.

    I'm a novice and trying t learn the guitar. I have one pedal, a chorus. I want to get the Joyo R14 reverb. I have a Donner daisy chain. I've looked at the Donner Dp1 and 2 model, but honestly they All look the same for $30 to $50. The caline and others look like they are made at the same factory with different names put on them. I've also looked at the Joyo5 power supply. The confusing part for me is every youtube video says something different. These power supplies aren't truly isolated, they are just filtered. I've even went into local guitar stores and can't get a straight answer. Sometimes you think jyst get the Vodoo and be done with it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the video.
