Game trailers that I can’t understand always make me want to play those types of games the most. Especially when they have all this cool sci-fi tech. That’s what made me want to play Death Stranding.
Final Fantasy opening scene, Death Stranded and inception? Very confusing but looks like it might be fun.

Cool another trailer that shows no gameplay at all. Cinematic trailers should be for movies, I want to see GAMEPLAY as that is the only thing that really matters for a game.
There's no chance I would even give this a second look unless I see some gameplay. I know many gamers are still young and very susceptible to this type of puffed up marketing, but I actually like to see the product before deciding to purchase
That space suit makes no sense. You have this incredible alien looking futuristic helmet with some archaic looking suit. Like it looks like they cobbled some assets together from the unreal marketplace

It's attached to some kind of motorized arm on his back.
@@empirecarpeting Yup that's clear but it moves as though it weighs nothing because there is no torque reaction in his body as the motorized mechanism decelerates it to a quick stop.
Game engines can now do physics so I am missing the massive, chunky aspects of these otherwise realistic renderings of physical reality.

Pragmata can be translated as "it has been done", something that cannot be undone. It has a Kojima vibe all over it, maybe something to do with parallel realities merging or similar
I don't about Kojima but I'm getting a Nier: Automata vibe with some Bioshock influence

"Pragmata" means "things" in Modern Greek.
I also got major Kojima vibes from this one; Maybe it's the Ludens-esque spacesuit and the bit where they're on the moon that makes it feel that way.
Actually, you are close but not accurate. ΠΡΑΓΜΑ(singular) means something that have been procuded/made by/been done by,
not just "has been done". It refers to non living materialistic objects. Now PRAGMATA(plural), is never used for the same explanation
as i said for the singular, it changes the word's meaning,it mostly refers about "things" or "matters".
It looks very cool, I just hope the devs have a good development cycle and whoever's managing it doesn't screw up.
This trailer tells us nothing about the game though. It just looks pretty. That's it.

edit: also there is a lot of judgement given without even seeing the product itself. all we have is a trailer and it looks pretty good, havent really seen anything negative so i dont really get why people are so mad about this. we have only seen positive things about this so far
the graphics are pretty good (ofc they are gonna be good its the trailer but just mentioning it here)
the animations seem pretty alright and the one thing that seemed to be not great is the hair physics which looked kinda weird, also that green ball part was kinda weird in the animation part but other than that its pretty good
if ppl just react to good trailers with mostly the logic of trailer good = game bad then it would make more sense to just remove trailers outright tbh

YES, I remember back in 2020 seeing this trailor live feeling bad that it wasn't coming until 2023 which was forever, now I'm here and it feels like just yesterday I watched this game get announced, time flies!
i think the original trailer had 2023 for the release and we are almost half way through '23 so....

They then released a teaser (with some gameplay) saying the date is unknown.
I'm fascinated by that portable 3D printer that turns energy into matter nearly instantly. The only thing in the trailer that got my attention.

Also for @Vitalius154, if they wanted to use a different word for creation, they could have simply gone to more fascinating words like DEMIOURGUS/DEMIOURGIA,
which are more appealing to the eye, it contains the DEMI part, which in extention allows the ppl result to think other great things and words(DEMIGOD). :D

I remember I used to see high-production-value games with a seemingly bizarre story and setting and I would think "man this is gonna be great" but these days all I think is "yeah I'll just wait for reviews, this is nonsense"
This game looks like someone at capcom really liked death stranding and wanted to green light their own version of “weird cinematic game from the future” and just put a bunch of ideas on a whiteboard and made a trailer. Just made something weird for the sake of being weird. There will be no reason that the cat is a robot, much less a reason for why it’s a hologram. Someone just thought hologram cat robot was cool and weird and wanted to put it in for the sole reason it was weird

"Pragmata" is a Greek word which directly translates to "Things' , for anyone wondering. Not 100% sure if thats what the devs were going for with the name tho
Could be referring to the creative use of craftable 'things', and/or possibly the fact that everything shown is automata or simulated 'things'. However pragmatism refers to 'acts' or 'deeds', so it could be focused on the tasks and feats the protagonist must accomplish, or the consequences of greater acts that brought this circumstance upon them in the first place?
I found out that the term is related to Aristotle and his will to classify "human affairs" (called 'pragmata' by himself).
Honestly, this is really creative. I hope it does well.

@@Darion350 I personally don't think it will. Its using the RE engine and its capcom so thats a somewhat of a safety net. Doesn't mean something still can't go wrong tho.
Keep in mind that anthem was the perfect storm of everything going wrong and it's modern Bioware so yea no wonder how it turned out how it did.

This is awesome if it’s a trailer for a tv show but since it’s a game I really only want to see gameplay and I had hoped that the era of “impressive” cgi videos advertising GAMES was behind us.
I doubt their gameplay is ready to be shown. Often games like this aren't fully realised til the end. Especially when they make unique gameplay loop

The title is funny as fuck. Literally just means "stuff" or "things" in plural in Greek.
This looks like one of those games that you'll be waiting all the time for overly drawn out, annoyingly emotional cut scenes to end. scenes where characters do mundane things that should be interactive, like opening a door, but won't be. It'll be heavy on story and light on gameplay ingenuity.
