This test would have been more accurate if the two operators then swapped hardware and repeated the test. Digital scanners are not cheap, and don't forget to ask about the "subscription fees" that represent an ongoing financial burden on some units.
does CS3600 require subscription fees? I think Trios does and cs3600 u can use with no subscribtion fee at all. it also produces OPEN STL files....please correct me if I am wrong
I own 2 trios pod 3 and i use on beast mode and it’s faster than the scan you did. And I’m very happy with the results!!! That’s why i own 2 trios pod 3. This test it’s not a validity!!!
This is completely inaccurate. Disclaimer* I do not work for 3 Shape but I can easily see the means of capturing the TRIOS scan in this video is so obviously biased and not at all representative of the actual of the speed of the scanner. I hope that it is because the user has no idea of how fast to move the scanner in relation to the gathering of data and not because they are purposely trying to scan slowly...
CS3600 with the newest software (September 2017 release) is even faster..With a real-time HD scanning option and no picture shots limitation.

Bullshit. The CS3600 is a dog. Get a Trios or a Medit. Don't waste your time.
