In my house's gallery there is is very rare chance of sunlight , many plants died due to lack of sunlight , now i will try this .👍

2:28 Small correction: You mean kilowatt hours here (unit billed).
Little but significant correction, because for example a kettle may use 1000 Watts, but it only draws the power for 5 minutes (~0.1 KWh). Meanwhile you can have a couple of light bulbs drawing 100 Watts for several hours (0.1 KWh per hour). The wattage is only an indicator how much energy an appliance needs, but the actual energy used depends on how long that appliance is actively drawing the wattage.
You are right. I have the same understanding.
One will pay for amount of energy they use. A 50 watt led will theoretically use 1 KW in 20 hours.
Can you further explain what I have explained wrongfully in the video with reference to your comment?
@@ShashiNGautam You were just using the wrong unit: kW (kilowatts = power) instead of kWh (kilowatt hours = energy) in the subtitles. Just a minor mistake. The math still checks out.

Just wanted to suggest a change in the way you are measuring the lux since it is very sensitive to distance. You are incorrectly measuring the lux from the phone because the sensor is placed over the top of the screen and the light input is read mostly vertically. You need to turn the phone towards the lamp (so that ambient light sensor is also receiving the light right into it) while keeping it at the same spot that's how you would be able to properly assess the lux levels. Keeping it flat and moving it will give wrong readings.

Mobile Lux meter app using mobile sensor should only be used for indicative purpose.
Buying accurate Lux meter will be a investment for serious grower.

I wanted to ask some questions
Chrysanthemum plant has given flowers now I want that the cutting which I want to take from the plant it should not get any BUDS.
1. How much distance should be there between plant and the buld ?
2. Which buld should I use ?
3. For how much time the light should be given to plant ?
4. How many LUX of light should be given ?
5. And for how much duration the light is to be given during night ?
The plant is grown on roof and the length of the day is 10 hours.

आपने एक बड़ी hi इनफार्मेटिवे जानकारी ही नहीं दी है बल्कि ट्रेनिंग दे डाली है।।इसकी मुझे सख्त जरूरत है। अभी आपके vdo को 3 से 4 बार आराम से समझ समझ कर देखना होगा । मुझे इंडोर , सेमी इंडोर और ओपन एरिया के भी प्लांट्स पे कुछ प्रयोग करना होगा ।
मेरे पास कुछ ऐसे मेंगो प्लांट्स हैँ जिनको 8 hrs की सनलाइट जरूर चाहिए।अगर ऐसा नहीं होगा तो सब कुछ होगा flowering और फ्रूटिंग नहीं होगी।
ये मियज़ाकि mango प्लांट है। वर्ल्ड का सबसे महंगा आम
2.80 लाख्/ kg.
उसी के कारण सारी रिसर्च एन्ड एक्सप्रेमेंट्स हो रहे हैँ।

Some seeds do need exposure to light for germination. Some need dark.
While for most it doesn't matter.

You have to take lux reading as demonstrated in the video.
It should be minimum 10 to 12 k

Hi Sir, first of all thank you very much for sharing knowledge. I have sowed winter flower seeds a week back and since its raining now there is not enough natural light available. I have placed a 25W CFL light over the saplings which is giving me around 10000 lux at 6 inch distance. Please suggest if I should go for 50W LED at this stage or I should let the plants grow a bit. Thanks in advance.
50 watt gave 25 k lux at 6 inch.
Minimum needed for any meaningful growth. But while placing it close yo the plant br aware of heat it will produce. Adjust the distance accordingly.

My radermachera sinica Plants is 2 Feet Approx in 14 Inch Pot
I have no first hand experience in growing this plant but did some research.
My recommendation
Since it is a indoor plant and thrive 8n indirect sunlight it should not need grow light.
Bright led light of 20 watt or more should be sufficient.
You can also use red and blue grow light too.

Light is less so I felt like adding a light source for growth. Plants are in 1.5 feet shelf . Can I supplement with additional led tubelight? How much lux should I keep

You can install 20 watt LED of 2000 k and 6500 k each.
50 watt will be even better.
You can also install specialised red and blue LED grow lights.
