3:43 that desperate begging for help look Matt gave to Corey with this final screaming part and his nowhere near the mike crushed him and had no choice but to struggled it though :D ...few seconds later... 4:19 Corey: "Here, happy now!?" :D
By the time Corey came in it was to late, Matt already did 97% of it and it was badass. Also it’s completely understandable if he was struggling, would y’all be able to keep that scream up while playing the guitar? Definitely Not. Let alone an hour of their screaming songs, not to mention your voice should still be nice and strong still after this song in order to keep going
Once again a great performance.Years ago, Seen Trivium as opening band at a concert in the States. Never listened to them than an jesus first min of them playing all hell broke loose. Definitely was made a fan for life. One of the best bands i seen yet.
Shaggy Airsoft same shit here man, I only heard a couple of songs but went to the show in 2012 with In Flames and when Matt came on with those raw & thunderous “IIIIINNN WAAAAAAAVVVESSSS” Holy fucking Christ man, they tore that place to shit!!! it was an out of body mindfuck the entire set, was instantly a fan for life
He was so sloppy. I can understand why he had to go. I didn't get the drummer shuffle until I heard Alex play Trivium. You can hear it here too, Nick is just so damn sloppy.
@@joe2271 trivium lost a bit on precision when travis left , nick was just fast and technical but very sloppy, the other guys matt and paul were fill ins more or sless until they got alex, alex can play rings around all the other drummers, and he nails all the old travis songs perfectly and doesnt try to overplay them, hes great
@@MungasaurusBravo69420 I am sorry, but have you ever watched any of the live perfomances with Travis? Atleast the later ones around Shogun? His double bass was very sloppy, because he sped up everything so damn much. He wrote great parts and definitely could play them perfect at some point, but from what I've seen.. they didn't lose any precision when he left. 😅
oh my god... this power, I can't believe I was NOT there. and can't believe the difference between then and now [(live shows) obviously they were way better then]
@@seven7asable I still think the same. Matt's vocals on cleans and screams were amazing. He's clean vocals suck a lot now however his guitar playing is better now. Alex Bent is nice also but Trivium 2011-2014 was peak.
They definitely made the right move switching drummers. Sorry, but it's one thing to play a song a little bit faster live due to nerves or otherwise, it's another to play it 100,000,000× faster than the correct tempo and sacrifice feel and correct timing because of it.
Wacken always brings out the very best in most bands if your band cant shine at wacken they should never even be playing live incredible Fucking performance!

@@tfwnoyandere No way. Alex is a damn beast. I have seen Trivium 19 times, many times with both Alex and Nick, and I think the problem is that Alex just make it look effortless with what he does. I'm the early live versions Matt and Paolo head bang intensely to this song.
I was there and it was awesome.
How can u possibly dislike this??
Definitely the best live show there done

Yes that's him
omg ellos siempre suenan en live como si fuera en estudio
I say this is Trivium in their prime.
+yamir rashid and this video is from 2011.

is paolo that scream at 1:33 the second "of the parts"?
You're right, that is Paolo on the second scream, definitely not Corey
In this show Paolo screamed on Throes of Perdition as well
oh, well that's cool! Didn't knew Paolo did it too
filmtiepe Yeah, during the In Waves run I've seen him scream a couple of times, but he's gone back to just clean vocals since then
Nope. That's still Corey. 1:36 Corey's still on the mic when that scream ends.
