I'm going to put one together soon. When I made the perfect roster video, I didn't expect this to become a recurring thing, but now that I've made a handful of videos following this general theme, I agree that it deserves its own playlist.
When I try to do Universe Mode, I always have a difficult time advancing feuds and making them interesting. Do you have a video, or can you make one on how to advance feuds and make yourself and the viewers excited for what will happen at the PPV?
The promo system in WWE 2K17 is what makes it harder in my opinion. I wish you could beforehand type out what the superstars say before the promo so they could trash-talk each other, and don't say the same lines every promo and make stupid insults that really don't advance the rivalry, just make them look stupid. Like, when I usually do a rivalry, I have superstar A attack superstar B backstage, or after a match up, or something that starts a rivalry, considering there isn't a championship on the line and A is a heel and B is a face, and then I may have a promo leading into it, I may have the person who got attacked get some revenge backstage so it could be even going to a PPV match, or if it is a championship match, superstar A is the WWE Champion, and superstar B wins a #1 contender for a championship match and fights them at the PPV, I have superstar B pull off a promo after the match or something calling the champion out, but it just doesn't properly advance to the PPV for some reason, it just doesn't feel smooth and is rushed/boring/a cliche, and that is why I just stopped doing universe mode on my channel because the rivalries weren't intense, you couldn't tell they hated each other, you couldn't tell the grudges they add on eachother, it just got boring and started to repeat, and you can't really start multiple rivalries the same way. I had a team that just went around attacking everyone and they made lots of enemies that way and were good heels (which included John Cena as the leader, that is why I thought it was a good idea) but it was never smooth enough to have a high-stakes matchup between the people they attacked and themselves
XDoge GamingX To help, go into create a video, (if you want to use a alternate attire, make it a caw), go into promo and work your magic now after crop your video and add the text. I know it's a long process but it helps with presentation and stuff trust me😃
Christ, the HIAC mechanics are a fookin nightmare. The KO/Ziggler title match I did a while back has about 6-7 mins of the two guys in that corner, and about four different sets of clips while I was trying to get Owens through. Almost forgot to finish the match because I was so damn relieved when it broke!
It's awful when you turn off the control indicators, as well, because you never know when someone is actually in the right place. I wanted Austin Aries to put Chris Jericho through the cell at Extreme Rules, but instead he hit a Brainbuster and I just rolled with it. I wasn't about to spend 5 minutes building up to another finisher lol.

I'm having trouble picking new talents for my own Universe Mode. I don't want to insert someone random because I don't want random pushes. How do I build someone like Bo Dallas or another Jobber up to Mid-Card/Upper Mid-Card status? I know you have many more requests, but you are the best at giving this advice, and I really want to know ASAP.
Pix I may not be who you were asking, but just have them start winning matches. After getting some wins, book them in a feud with another superstar of their status. Have that launch them into the title hunt for a mid-card title. After that, you can decide whether or not you want them to win the title, or keep them in the hunt.
Wesley Wiggins That is a good idea. The thing is, with someone like Bo Dallas as heel, having him beat the likes of Apollo Crews or Sami Zayn by dirty tactics makes the latter look stupid, and that isn't good for the feud. Good advice though, so thanks.

(Example: WWE has pushed the Shield like crazy but no member of the Shield has won a World Championship in Mathwiz's Universe. We don't count Dean Ambrose winning the WWE Championship in WWE '13)
Have you ever thought about a redemption angle? A Main eventer losses a big match then constantly looses and losses eventually snapping and attacking some Jobber and then wins, dominantly and then realises if he changes up his style and mindset he can get back to his former glory
Avery I know this is late and hopefully you’ve found an answer but form someone who does a universe mode as well I personally try to think ahead. Right now I am approaching the second half of my first year in universe mode my version of Wrestlemania will be AOA Armageddon. I already have a few matches in mind that I want to do for that show. I also have a cool concept that I am going to do for 2 ppvs away. So try to think ahead instead of thinking about that particular moment.

How could I add a Deceased Superstar to my universe? I'm trying to get Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero to make a surprise return. I'm finding it difficult to add Benoit(obvious reasons) and the only time Eddie was involved was During wwe 13.
Well it is your universe mode and I will say I see where you're coming from but of course if you use them people should know it's a what if thing like what if Eddie Guerrero Vader Andre the Giant etc so it's up to you
You could make it a decade long angle where Chris Benoit killing himself/family was a long work to save the company from itself and he has return to make a name. Vince McMahon almost had an angle where he died in a limo so it's not so far off.

My bro and I are going to do a SD vs Raw UM(not for YT, just for us) and I really hate that I don't know how to make the rosters, we did our own version of a "Draft", but his SD looks too powerful and my Raw look like a scrambled egg, I need some help with it. We were going to use 20 superstars per brand, 15 are relevants and 5 are a kind of jobbers, but right now his roster is just too main card and mine is like idk, weird. We were using Cena, Rollins, Ziggler, Cesaro, Miz, Ryder, Sheamus, Randy, Rusev, Jericho, Samoa Joe, Roman, Kane, Xavier, Del Rio(I guess I'll need a caw or another wrestler, maybe Mahal), Sin Cara, Fandango, Slater, Goldust and Axel for Raw, and Bryan, AJ, Kevin Owens, Apollo, Zayn, Neville, Dean, Luke, Hideo, Finn, Bray, Tyler, Baron, Kalisto, Stardust, Bo, Rose, Big Show, R-Truth and Swagger for SD, If somebody can help me well, thanks a lot.
Alfred García you pick out 4 Big main event names to as the first four then you pic four more people who will start out as mid carders but will evolve into main eventers, then the next four should be teams to build a good tag devision the next 4 should be 2 big names and 2 Mid carders then the next four should be jobbers, next figure out your first feuds and the purpose each wrestler has and Don't try to push everyone, build off of the first fueds to evolve

the only good AI's in wrestling games are the Fire Pro AI's because you can make your own AI's for individual characters
