    I purchased a couple of wedges for my Dara holsters because the foam wedges are a very tacky solution. I took time to think about how to install is, and when done I have a very clean installation. Not bad since it kept me from going to look as another system when I already had something I liked. For those who don't have a Harry's kit there's a possibility that you can fit those polymer wedges to you existing holsters. I wish I could post a photo so people could see. I do like that Harry places tons of option on his kits but I really wasn't looking to purchase another holster just to have the polymer wedge. So I did a DIY fit and place rubber plugs in the holes where the screw go to fill the empty craters...

    Really glad to see AIWB is working for you. Glad to see how much you've slimmed down! Makes AIWB very pleasant.

    Harry’s holsters are game changers. Sometimes AIWB works best for me depending on what I’m wearing. I always holster my gun before putting the holster IWB at appendix. Again, glad to have you back around Nolan.

    You can check out Tau Group, the sell a glock backplate called the Striker Control Device that works like a hammer when reholstering designed for reholstering. Been out for a while, and works great, not much promotion on it as its expensive for a backplate. Its also aluminum and does what others dont and for those nervous about AIWB with a glock, this is ideal.for them and doesnt effect the gun in anyway possible. I tested one about 3yrs ago and still on one of mine, forgot about it and just never took it off. Great product!

      RAZORJB as long as your thumb is pressing hard on the back, the trigger can’t be pressed releasing the striker correct? You would have to apply enough pressure on the trigger to overcome the strength of your thumb in order to do so? Not to mention you feel it pressing on your thumb if something does get hung up in the trigger guard?

      Keith Gemmill Correct, but not designed specifically for that, just a notification really...once you feel it coming up, slow down stop and look at things. I never had an issue as I always look at my holster when reholstering, but in winter time with all these different wind breakers and cords and ties this can be a lifesaver.

      RAZORJB agreed. Slow deliberate and always look when re-holstering for me. In real life the gun fight is more then likely over at that point, no need to go Ricky Bobby. I see some people in videos jam it in there as fast as they draw without looking. I cringe every time.

      Keith Gemmill Yes Sir! Everything in life really has a follow through and access...dont be so quick to finish what you started....take time and be prepared to start again correctly.

    Hey Nolan! Well done video. I'm likely going to pick up one of these soon. I really like the carbon fiber look, as I mentioned to you one other discussion. I'm holding out that Harry comes out with one for a G19 with an Olight PL-Mini light. Uncle Dan has that same setup. He said that he needed to go with another holster company to get one. He would have preferred going with Harry's Holsters, but he doesn't currently offer that setup. I'll probably pick one up to try on either my G19 or my M&P M2.0 Compact, but I'm still debating if I want to go the appendix route. Looking forward to the follow up video for more info. Thanks, again!

    Show us you wearing the holsters so we can judge the concealability.

      After I got some time with each of them I’ll be making a video letting you guys know how they all work out and show how they look while on.

    Iv’e found the holster that is most comfortable for Appendix carry is two snap on loops. They allow for small flexibility of holster making for a comfortable carry bending over or seated in car. The loops are made to snap on bottom first and take off top first making them solid and unable to come off accidentally from any pressure while carrying. The clip causes to much pressure on abdomen making them uncomfortable to most people. The belt should secure tightness not the clip.

    Do you have a Glock 26 Harry's holster with the higher sweatguard you'd be willing to sell? I like that older design of his holster versus the newer design.

    Nice Nolan! You guys are tempting me to try appendix again. I’ve not found it to be comfortable in the past but maybe it’s time for a revisit. Cheers brother!

    Has he made a video showing him wearing the holsters? I'm considering carrying the P07 and would love to see how it conceals with this setup. Great video by the way!

    Bending over is the most uncomfortable part of appendix carry. I basically can't due to the barrel jamming into me; maybe I just need to try with a smaller pistol or see if I can try a holster with a higher ride height.

    • @HarrysHolsters
      @HarrysHolsters 6 лет назад

      Might actually want to try a larger gun. Spreads out the pressure making that movement less painful.

      Harry's Holsters don't know if I'd want to carry something bigger than a P10C. May just need to try something more adjustable.

    Good explanations. I may have to lose some weight to try that out.

    I may try a rig setup like that and give it a try... You guys have finally pushed me a little to try it out. I have never really been against it either, just have a little "fluff' down below, so never gave it a real solid look. :)

      @NolanOutdoors  6 лет назад

      I was the same way. Maybe if you get the right Holster setup you can pull it off.

    Bought a Harry’s holster once, and while the overall design was nice, the execution was poor. Some of the cheapest, flimsiest Kydex I’ve ever felt. You could literally bend the sweat shield like it was plastic
