I remember being super hyped for Disney infinity 1.0 I was already big on Skylanders and loved the Toy Story 3 game, so getting that upgraded toy box mode with all the crossovers made me an instant fan. Still have a lot of nostalgia for it.
Ha Sklanders and Disney Infinity along with Amiibo and LEGO Dimensions... I remember collecting those during my high school days but sadly I stopped since those around 2018-2019 because of those "filthy" scalpers. Also I did played Toy Story 3 the game but unfortunately for me it was the Nintendo Wii version.
I loved the skylanders games, I grew up playing them, I had a huge collection until a few years ago when my storage unit got robbed and my collection got stolen

There is footage online of a scrapped Disney Infinity 4.0 story mode that would feature all of the characters from different franchises combined, not just individually. Guess we can't have nice things in this timeline

When I got into my first apartment, my roommates were into Disney infinity. (I was 26 and they were in their 30s, for context) and we definitely played 2.0 and Diablo like, every weekend.
it makes me so happy to know other people were just recently thinking about this game too. I’ve been playing disney dreamlight valley and i was like “wait why do i very faintly remember being elsa and shit in like an open sandbox world” looked it up and you had just posted this like 1 days ago.
All of 1, 2.0 and 3.0 along with almost the entire collection of figures is stored in a storage bin. My kids were completely into DI and I had a blast watching them enjoy the toys and games. Hopefully one day my grandkids will be able to play it, as well.
Come to think about it this game should work as a 16 episode TV show and Mr Incredible, Sully, and Jack Sparrow being the leads and go on for a universe adventure.

I was and am still so obsessed with the Disney Infinity games. Got all three games and collected all of the figures. I played for literal days at a time. Just so much fun. I now have the Steam bundle and have completely got lost in them again.

I grew up with disney infinity and bought all the games and most of the figures as a kid i recently picked it up again after finding my old sets in the attic and oh boy is it even better then i remember. Now im older using alot of the game creator tools has been easier to understand meaning ive unlocked a whole new side ive never tried before! I made a whole pirates of the carrabiean map with different toy boxes connected to one another and ive been forcing my friends to try it out in split screen, this games become my guilty pleasure 💀 just wish the memory limit wasnt so annoying, this game is a hidden gem.
The Cars 2 game is a BLAST! I loved playing it with my family back when it came out, I'd definitely recommend you play it. The OG Cars game was super fun too if I'm remembering correctly.
Idk if youve ever played it but you should totally check out the Guardians of The Galaxy game by Square Enix. They dropped the ball with Avengers but they COOKED with GOTG

I played so much Disney Infinity with my kid at the time. We loved building our own worlds in the toy box and having the other play in it. I refuse to get rid of the “toys”. They did a great job with the figures like Venom and Ahsoka that I keep them on display around my work desk.
Disney came out during the "Fad" era of gaming. That was a time when every big company was following some kind of trend. Whether that be grey & gritty shooters, social media interlink, toys-to-life, one game reboots, etc. Thank God that time is over. Still, Disney INF was great get for those who played it.

The composer of Epic Mickey did the music for the Inside Out play set. The Cars gameplay was also taken from Acalanche’s Cars 2. Sumo Digital who did the Sonic racing games did the racing elements of 3.0

The Toy Story In Space playset is actually a smaller version of a cancelled Toy Story game that would focus on the Toy Box mode of the Toy Story 3 game but in space

I only have the 1.0 version. Got kids and dogs and ended the toy box to life thing for me 🤣 but 1.0 was good! Skylanders was my favorite of this type though. Had at least every one of the first 50-60 that came out. Me and the wife would just go around looking for them. Didn’t know they would be chewed on years later 😂
Absolutely loved Disney Infinity. I was fortunate enough to get 1.0 and 2.0 but I wasn't able to get 3.0, so I never tried it. I was a big fan of Toy Story 3 and was super excited when I saw what DI was going to be like. I loved the first two games ands spent countless hours in the Toy Box mode. I was really bummed to see there wouldn't be a 4th game. I think it could've continued to even today, but they got too greedy and it didn't work out. It sucks because they had some really great ideas for 4.0. If they were to bring it back, it would be a digital, always online, live service game. I'm not sure I'd want this game to come back with how games are nowadays. I gotta get that Gold Edition because I'd like to play through it again and all of the stuff I didn't get to play through.

Part of it was due to a year of production time was cut since they decided to give Toy Story 4 extra time and they didn’t want to get rid of the release day set for it so Incredibles 2 got pushed up
I'm happy to say that I was with Disney Infinity since the beginning really. When 1.0 first came out, I had no interest. I knew it was just like Skylanders and it was a way for Disney to make money. I broke down when I saw Jack Skellington was a figure. I'm a huge Nightmare Before Christmas fan, so naturally I just HAD to get him. Originally I was just going to get him...and that's it. Nothing else. But then curiosity got the better of me and I bought the 1.0 starter pack. I was hooked from then on. I bought a majority of the figures and power ups, the 2.0 starter set, and yes even 3.0. The game was sooo fun and addicting! I remember spending hours to make my very own Wonderland themed world in the Toy Box and even goofing around with my brother in the Toy Box. I was so sad when they finally shut it down, but I was happy to see it's on PC too! Naturally I bought the gold edition and got all three versions. Only downside with the Steam version is it doesn't have the Marvel Battlegrounds mode for 3.0 and they left out the Tim Burton Alice characters.
I love the art style of disney infinity especially seeing the clone wars area. I would love a starwars game lookn like the clone wars. But this studio made Hogleg inwhich I love so sadly they're already wrapped up with hogleg 2

Disney Speedstorm has inside out in it as well. Characters, racetrack, etc….but your gonna have to cash out some money for the characters

I just hopped back on yesterday since I have covid (25yo man) and I forgot how much I like it! Map building is fun as, and I have a bunch of sick characters with skill trees I specialized in 💪 seems dope

I only have the 1.0 version. Got kids and dogs and ended the toy box to life thing for me 🤣 but 1.0 was good! Skylanders was my favorite of this type though. Had at least every one of the first 50-60 that came out. Me and the wife would just go around looking for them. Didn’t know they would be chewed on years later 😂

Absolutely loved Disney Infinity. I was fortunate enough to get 1.0 and 2.0 but I wasn't able to get 3.0, so I never tried it. I was a big fan of Toy Story 3 and was super excited when I saw what DI was going to be like. I loved the first two games ands spent countless hours in the Toy Box mode. I was really bummed to see there wouldn't be a 4th game. I think it could've continued to even today, but they got too greedy and it didn't work out. It sucks because they had some really great ideas for 4.0. If they were to bring it back, it would be a digital, always online, live service game. I'm not sure I'd want this game to come back with how games are nowadays. I gotta get that Gold Edition because I'd like to play through it again and all of the stuff I didn't get to play through.
Please do a Cars video. The first Cars video game was my childhood in a nutshell. I remember spending weekends playing it on my dads old Windows XP computer.

Cinderella's castle wouldn't fit on the one baseplate you were given so you had to add 3 more so it could fit. Or like 9 if you wanted to run around the castle and not fall of and die! 😂

2:50 ngl, I'm not excited for Incredibles 3... they had 14 years between the release of the first one and the second one, and the second one is just a forgettable mess
Part of it was due to a year of production time was cut since they decided to give Toy Story 4 extra time and they didn’t want to get rid of the release day set for it so Incredibles 2 got pushed up

I'm happy to say that I was with Disney Infinity since the beginning really. When 1.0 first came out, I had no interest. I knew it was just like Skylanders and it was a way for Disney to make money. I broke down when I saw Jack Skellington was a figure. I'm a huge Nightmare Before Christmas fan, so naturally I just HAD to get him. Originally I was just going to get him...and that's it. Nothing else. But then curiosity got the better of me and I bought the 1.0 starter pack. I was hooked from then on. I bought a majority of the figures and power ups, the 2.0 starter set, and yes even 3.0. The game was sooo fun and addicting! I remember spending hours to make my very own Wonderland themed world in the Toy Box and even goofing around with my brother in the Toy Box. I was so sad when they finally shut it down, but I was happy to see it's on PC too! Naturally I bought the gold edition and got all three versions. Only downside with the Steam version is it doesn't have the Marvel Battlegrounds mode for 3.0 and they left out the Tim Burton Alice characters.

I love the art style of disney infinity especially seeing the clone wars area. I would love a starwars game lookn like the clone wars. But this studio made Hogleg inwhich I love so sadly they're already wrapped up with hogleg 2
Does the golden addition give you characters to play or do you have to buy them like how does that work here in the golden addition?
