Some DJs are excellent programmers. Others are extremely technical or skilled. Some are charismatic, others can mix flawlessly or lay sounds over like complex tapestry, or change the mood at will. Some are great at breaking new sounds, some manage to sound contemporary at all times.
Zabiela does all that with mastery and uniqueness. What A fucking genius, a true and rare DJ.

This is always my go to set. Gets me out of panic attacks. Makes me run faster. Perfect if you are on your own. Perfect if you have fitness round. My fav set

The gorgon city house arrest live is one of my go to sets. Check out gentlemen mix its like a live 24/7 deep house mix its pretty decent (no I'm not advertising it lol)
pro tip : watch movies at flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching lots of of movies recently.

James is so much fun to watch and listen to. He is one of the few DJs who has truly mastered the new gear, to live remix on the fly. Plus, he's super cool about sharing all of his knowledge with others.

Saw James on Saturday night in Southampton, without a doubt the best DJ I've ever seen perform.
He was the first dj I ever saw live. Also my first ever proper club party 6 years ago. It was surreal.

James was coming to my favorite club in Dallas on April 11, 2020, then it got rescheduled to September 19, then it got cancelled. I'm more sad about that than any of the bigger stuff that got cancelled.

So the first 2 tracks I was like, finally! I have a groove that I rarely hear in the clubs anymore- that funky hard-soul house groove. Then without failure, it was back to the futuristic voyaze zips, zaps, and techy beeps. I guess club house is really dead at the clubs today...

@@1p0rnstar I mean, Richie Hawtin (Plastikman) wasn't a father of detroit techno, but he's certainly been influential and was an early-comer. He released Decks, EFX & 909 in 1999, and that setup really isn't all that dissimilar to what James is using here.

Ive never understood this type of music, i really wish i could like it. Just stumbled across this on youtube. It sounds pretty repetitive, though i guess thats part of the appeal ?

+Shane Bruegger Because i know so many do and seem to really get in to it, also it would be good to go places and dance for hours and feel great, but it does nothing for me and i kind of feel like im missing out ! The music playlist on my channel (justmadeit2) shows the stuff im in to, its more guitar based, or band/instrument based
+justmadeit2 Just like Evan Borden said, this style of music let's you get lost in it. Don't get me wrong, saw a couple of songs you have in your playlist and I usually listen to a few of them, but usually they convey emotion and that triggers, at least for me, memories, past lovers, past moments in life. Not a bad thing, but sometimes it's not really the intention.
+justmadeit2 In your defense Zabiela is more of a DJ's Dj its somewhat late 90's style which a lot of us remember with a combination of experimental and minimal. It's hard to cut your teeth on this DJ because it is an acquired taste. I have been meaning to reply back and got caught up with work. No dancing for me.
