      Agreed, but I also think Ducati chose the correct rider. Marc is a proven all-time great. Ducati are seeing his performance on a year-old bike, and they are impressed. No other rider on a '23 Ducati is competing for podium places.

    To anyone doubting J. Martin at Aprilia I think you are missing. Yes, he won't going to win right away like when he is at Ducati. But his adaptation on the bike will be seamless because he has all the reference to look at. Especially a personal rider coach at home that could able to give him all the info. to unlock the capability of the Rs-GP in his pal Aleix.
    Most of all his natural riding style suited more the bike. He just needs to be one on it. A bit of time is what he needs.

    Frankly, I don’t care that Martin has left.. Bagnaia is a better rider, and Marquez is far better for corporate Ducati, who does sell motorcycles with a fair bit of profit.. Martin has demonstrated himself to be an entitled, self centered - if talented - brat. Exactly who is surprised at the outcome ?

      The Ape can corner very fast. And so can JM89, a very dangerous combo. It’s been done in the past when Ducati would decimate all bikes in the straights and even the Hondas and Yamahas could still beat them in braking and cornering. It’s all in the pilot, not always the bike. JM should be trouble to all once he makes his Aprilia adaptation!

Perfectly said. "From a near career ending injury and a horrendous time on the Honda, to finding his spark again and securing the best bike" spot on imo. • @bernardoberner4

      @@dayleashleynolasco5765 that would be really silly, moving from directly from Moto3 to MotoGP usually never works. Yes hes clearly more talented than the recent examples, Binder and Miller, who both really struggled.
      But as I said, I dont think its a good idea, hell Pedro didnt do it and I dont think Alonso is quite on the same level as Acosta and again, Alonso is a short king, moving him straight to a big bike, really dont think that gonna work

    • @dayleashleynolasco5765
      @dayleashleynolasco5765 3 месяца назад

      @@bernardoberner4 D. Binder's move was due to his contract with RNF, not about his talent compare to David Alonso who is a complete rider. You do know their Moto2 team got dissolved despite having an existing contract to ride with them in Moto2. So the solution of the boss R. Razali that time just to keep him & his valuable Green Power sponsorship was to put him in their only team in MotoGp alongside Dovi who brought WithU.
      David Alonso's case is different. He is talented enough to leapfrog to MotoGP. If J. Miller who hasn't the same potential as him when he was in Moto3 managed to do that & stay for 10 season in MotoGp similar to the other good riders of the sport. It shows all alone that it could work. What more on David.

    I think Ducati made a massive mistake. Marc is so crash prone and is just one crash away from a career ending injury due to his eye problem. Also, Marc and Pecco in the same team is going to be drama. Marc is not a team player, he thinks he rules the roost wherever he goes. I hope Jorge does well at Aprilia and makes Ducati regret their decision.

      Crash prone because he was pushing that honda to the absolute limit. Actually most of marc's crashes dont happen in the main race. In fact, Pecco has more DNF's so far this season.
      The one crash away from a career ending injury is the same for every rider. This is a dangerous sport. It speaks a lot of the progress in safety that a career ending injury hasnt been the case in a long time.
