Hello. Beautiful videos. I haven't really seen videos that reflect so well what the road is about. Congratulations. Thank you so much for sharing it!. Together with my daughter we will start the path on October 8. I wanted to take the opportunity to ask you how was the train trip from Paris to SJPDP. We will also arrive in Paris and I am looking for ways to travel. Thank you!!! Jony

Hi Jony. This is a great question so I took some time to put together an answer. Getting to SJPDP was probably the part of the journey I stressed about the most, so I did a fair bit of research.
In Charles de Gaulle Airport the train station to get into Paris is in Terminal 2E. If you arrive at a different terminal in the airport then you must take a free shuttle to get to 2E, which is not too hard. But you can likely avoid this step because international flights into Paris arrive at the group of gates in Terminal 2. Once in Terminal 2E, follow the RER B signs on the ceilings to get to the train station.
Once you get to the train station entrance go to the electronic ticket machines. These display instructions in whatever language you choose, and there is also a person wandering around to help tourists if you get confused. I had read that the easiest place to start a train journey from Paris to SJPDP was at the Montparnasse train station in central Paris, and that is the area where I booked our hotel. So our first step was to buy train tickets from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Paris Montparnasse station. These tickets cost about 10€ each when we went, and we used a credit card with a chip. It took around 40 minutes to travel the 16 miles (26 km) from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Paris Center by train. At Denfert Rochereau we changed to the Metro line 6 in the direction of Charles de Gaulle-Étoile, then get off at Montparnasse-Bienvenüe. Your original ticket is still good when you switch to the metro line, and keep your ticket with you to exit the final station.
      I found this video helpful:
      ruclips.net/video/fwIl4huFCRQ/видео.html
When travelling to SJPDP, Gare Montparnasse is a train station which handles trains that use the TGV Atlantique high-speed lines servicing various parts of France and into Spain. The ticket office is at the southeastern end of the main concourse near platform 1. However we booked our train tickets a couple weeks in advance using the OMIO transportation booking app. We arrived at the station about an hour early, bought breakfast and coffee and watched the display boards to see what platform our train would be on.
At boarding time we joined the crowds and scanned our QR codes at the appropriate gate, then walked down the platform to our assigned train car. The first part of this train ride lasted just under 4 hours and we got off at Bayonne. We waited at that train station just over an hour then boarded the train for SJPDP. Heads up this last train is rush seating. We didn't realize this until everyone pushed past us and we were left with tiny, uncomfortable seats. But this last train ride is only an hour, so no big deal.
I hope that helps! Buen Camino!

      @@EagerFeetFamily Hi buddy.
Thank you for your time and for being so specific in the explanation. It really helps me a lot.
I am watching your videos, one by one a day, and I feel that I am sharing such a beautiful adventure with you.
We have exactly 60 days left to take the plane to Paris.
I will surely write to you again, in case of future doubts.
Thanks again for your time, and for sharing your CAMINO.
      Jony
