  • Thank you to Carrie Law-Lewis for sharing her battle with esophageal cancer, which took my father's life over a decade ago. As featured on Facebook Live in August 2021, Carrie shares the struggles of Esophageal Cancer diagnosis, self-advocacy and helping to spread awareness for this lesser known cancer, which there is little to no funding and no mandated screenings. As the Brooklyn Chapter Representative for the Salgi Esophageal Cancer Research Foundation, my mission is raise awareness and fight for early detection.
Please contact me via Facebook (Dara Rose Mormile) if you are an EC surivior who would like to share your battle and help fight for resources that can possibly change or save someone's life!

That hostess should let the women speak.

Interviewer talking and interrupting too much. Distracts from subject's story flow.

@@PatAcosta-vr5ol I am the host and coordinator of the interview and that is how an interview works- one provokes and the subject answers
Also me and the Carrie are on different time zones conducting this so the response is delayed with questions. Thank you for watching

@@spiritjourneyme as the interviewer it is important to have a conversation style approach while also keeping in mind Carrie’s time zone is different than mine so it appears to have an overlap in q&a. Thank you for watching!
