WOW. Followed all your steps and bought everything via your links and I'm happy to report that our propane cover looks BRAND NEW. THANK YOU!!! Prob gonna' hit up the RAM boxes on our truck among other things too. Great tips!
@@WanderingWeekends Great to hear!! Props to the Project Farm Vids for the great test. Think these wipes are gonna' make great stocking stuffers for a few ppl this year lol. Been a fan of your channel ever since we started full-timing a year and a half ago! Thanks for all the great advice.
Thumbs up on Cerakote, discovered it last winter, my molded fender flares on 2006 Colorado look better than new. thanks for the head up on Project Farm!!!!
Thanks! Just ordered some for the rest of the black plastic on our rig, (fenders, etc.) Unfortunately I already purchased a WHITE cover to replace my black one, figuring it wouldn't fade as bad as the black, although I'll coat the white one to keep it shiny too!!
Have you tried ArmorAll’s new “ceramic” wash? People have been raving about it on their trucks and they make one for tires. That might work better on the rock gaurd on the trailer front.
@@WanderingWeekends I’ve seen some use it in a foam cannon from Amazon, not an expensive one by any means. But I plan on giving our camper amd truck a good washing with it before we take it to Disney just to give it a good test. 😉
Only thing I would do different is to protect the floor that you’re working on. My husband does twice as much damage when fixing something because he doesn’t protect work surface. Maybe just something a wife would notice 😃
It looks good! And being weird about stuff like this is a good thing. It's how my husband is and it's why his stuff stays in excellent shape! I need to be more like y'all 🤣 I care about my stuff, but I'm a little more lax than Johnny haha
I am curious to see a follow up on the durability of this ceramic coating. I waxed mine yesterday with a spray on ceramic wax and it didn't do very much.
Very good info. My neighbour just got those plastic wheel well black plastic things. They are new but if he put a coat of that back to black on it now would it protect it from going dull or should he just wait till they look dull ? Thankyou for all your hard work.
Any idea of what product to use on travel trailer tires? Getting everything for the propane tank cover, but I just bought new Goodyear endurance tires and want to keep them in good shape...I already have covers. Just looking for that extra bit of protection from the sun.
How well has it lasted on your jeep? My tank cover is looking sad. I put all kinds of products on and they never last. They also streak after rain. I think I'm gonna look into this stuff. Never thought of ceramic coating for plastic. Thanks for sharing. :Nic

Awesome to hear!! I need to do an update video. They still look great!

I’ve used the CerraKote on my truck trim and really like it - never thought about the plastic on the trailer 🤔 Thanks for the tip!!
Absolutely!! Appreciate you watching
Nice mod Cory that did a nice job if you do the front of the trailer please do another video I’d like 👍 to see the difference.
Will do. The cover received some rain last night. Beading up like crazy.

No but it sounds intriguing

Thanks for the restore tip. I have been looking at my 30 pound propane tank cover and it is starting to look dull. Guess it's time!✌🇺🇸👍
It certainly was for us.

Haha! Noted ☺️
Good information

You're not strange. I do this. I even shine up my AC shrouds. 😁 How well had this stiff held up? :Nic
It’s held up very well!!

I would go ahead while it’s new. You’ll use less product and it’ll be protected from the get-go.
@@WanderingWeekends Thank-You

I’ve seen coating for the tires but have not used them.
still like the jack it? looking for a bicycle carrier and was wondering about it. thanks
Yes! I also love it breaks down (as you see in the vid) when you aren’t using it.

It holds up very well! I was like you with trim pieces. This is the real deal… not some tire shine product.
How has this held up since applying?
Very well!! Still dark black and shiny!
