Just got to this episode. I'm thinking if it wasn't Zoro who cut their dreams short, there's a million other threats in The New World that would've. Going off by our glimpse in the New World in episode 500 something, the 11 Supernovas, Blackbeard and Akainu alone already made their dreams impossible.
I love that the only reference ever to the scar on Zoro's eye is Sanji going "Huh, that's new." But no one seems concerned or cares that Zoro is now half blind. There's actually a theory that people think it's going to be some massive reveal.
Pre-time skip the strawhats were together less than a year, i think closer to like half a year or something like that according to how long they spent on each island and in between. But to the average one piece watcher it definitely feels like they’ve been together so much longer because of their adventures, also the fact that in real time some arcs take years and months to complete.
Usually the one who gets excited about power thingy is boy but here look Devi is the one who more excited when saw Luffy's power show off is kinda refreshing 😮
return to sabaody might be a short arc, but it'll remain as one of my favorites because luffy is SOOOOO cool in this arc. my favorite scene is coming up and it makes me so excited whenever i watch it
This part of the story is so neat. The Straw Hats could do pretty much anything now in a series where pretty much anything can happen. Oda has an uncanny ability to keep surprising just about everyone almost all of the time! And the crazy thing is that there is foreshadowing for most of the big reveals, if we'd only thought about things in a certain way :)
I don’t know if someone already told you guys this, but the voice actors for the fake straw hats are the same as the voice actors for the original crew but swapped around. For example, fake Luffy is voiced by Sanji VA and fake sanji is voiced by Zoro VA.

Yeah Zoro's eye has been a mystery since the timeskip. I feel he just keeps it closed to handicap himself and he won't open it again until he faces Mihawk. I don't believe he lost it since you don't see any stiches or eye patch
