The next long video is on specific strength exercises but comment below what else you guys are trying to see before the end of the year.
Plz suggest me best Spikes in best price
Yup strength training, periodization, maybe mental preparation
Sigo esperando el de core, pero tu material es de otro nivel 🤯🤩
In another video, you talked about how Andre Degrasse and Asafa Powell are really effective at transferring strength to speed, I wanted to know either some workouts, or warm-ups that are effective at helping me in those areas during my next track season
Jesus Christ saves! He’s the only way to heaven!
This life is temporary. When we die there’s heaven and hell. Sin leads to hell. But Jesus made a way out and it’s through Him! Jesus is the only way to eternal life in heaven! We have to repent and obey Him!
God bless you.
How To Strength Train For Speed
1:Sprint Short Distances.
2:Do Power Cleans.
3:Sled training.

The real mvp
@@TheSprintProject_ I might do this every 2 minute tuesdays
Can you make a video showing us some heavy and slow exercises and light and fast exercises for season off and season on
I love your videos! So straight to the point ❤️
I love this guy because I have an athletics match so I listened to his advice for over a year now and I love it
Unfortunately, you miss a critical muscle group, which is all the abdominal muscles... abs is key ... yes leg muscles and clean and jerk will get you out the blocks fast and give you a good 40 yard dash speed for the NFL ... but for Jamaicans maintain your top tend pasture, and high knee lifts 70 meters into your race, it's your abs muscles (your core) that will allow for that conservation of all momentum that you initially generated with your drive phase, ask elaine and usain about maintaining top end speed and strength and speed endurance ... look at their abs or their training and see the amount of ab work they incorporate... I spill a out a Jamaican secrets here again
Whats the most optimal way to train core?
@@hajarmalak8264 the biggest mistake athletes make is to try and train the core statically, doing things like planks and crunches. You actually want to train it for mobility and explosiveness just like the other muscle groups. Things like mountain climbers, burpees, power cleans, KB swings, and even just sprinting and swimming are great for developing core.
@@carsonmalleet4367you got some things mixed up their are multiple ways to train your core because of the multiple things it does it stabilizes it rotates it helps to flex and extend. you can’t truly Train it for explosiveness you can do fast movements that target it like Olympic lifts and sprinting but planks and anti rotational movements and flexion all have their place
I back to sprint training a couple of times a week. Mainly for fitness and I gotta say I'm enjoying your channel! Thanks!
no joke bro you dont know how encouraging this is for me. as for a few years ive been a bit lost in my training. appreciate it bro.
Happy to help man, you're definitely in the right place.
Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven! We have to repent!
This life is temporary. Staying in sin leads to hell. But Jesus can give you eternal life in heaven! We must repent!
God bless you.
Thankyou for posting Evidence Based training info, much appreciated 😎

Could you do a video on ankle strength/stability, balance and preventing ankle injuries for athletic endevours?
Hell yeah. Thanks for giving the focus advice then the action taken for improving how and when needed. Impressive video
I try to make this videos with as much instruction as if they were part of a paid program so I'm glad you rocking with them, thank you.
@@TheSprintProject_ cool. I appreciate it very much. For real though. This is great

True.
What about upper body? Is there any specific exercises we can do to train our upper body for sprinting?

The Sprint Project - What is the source of the chart at timestamp 2:15. Thanks for all of your hard work!!!
Next Video on POWER WORKOUT for Runners 😄😄
Wouldn’t the rectus femoris help a lot due to its hip extension attributes?
🔥🔥
Ok... So more developing strength off season and doing more explosive sprints when season cones .... What do u do to maintain it during season... Do u do a combination of both ?
Thanks so much for the content! Can you please make a video on how to recover from speed training. We have to know how to recover properly in order to get faster because this is where our body repairs itself, super-compensates, and adapts to training. Please show us how to recover properly from training.
Thank you! Been getting this request a couple times now so I got it on my list and it will most likely be a 2 Minute Tuesday vid.
How would recover from runs faster
what should my gym split be though?
Hey there's lack of knowledge in India in sprinting.... Can u plz upload offseason, Onseason, & midseason workout plans.... 🙏... Namaste
for me, it is not a matter of would be better between the applied vertical or horizontal training, for example the sled training has also some controindication. 1 the overload is not progressive, and i t is known that to icrease the piwer the overload must be progressive, in other terms this drill is limited. 2 also, with after some amount of overload the athlete cannot even perform the exercise, so there is another limit 3. the athlete with sled training looses also a relevant part of the increment of weight force produced by the previous step,he can runs with some speed but this speed is as blocked, there is no even any pliomeytric fase, since the eccentric fase is pratically about zero since the athlete is constantly engaged to push the chain . It is clear that if this exercise to be performed at the best ,obliges the athlete to pull in any moment always the chain then the eccentric fase is about to be reduced at zero since the athlete searches only the contraction of muscles. It is ok as useful to pull and increase the speed of contraction of quadriceps, who can negate it ,but the point remains that the sprint invpolves the controreaction mechanism, such thing is not performed thru the sled training , such method for me rudimental as obsolete and even limited. An ideal exercise would be composed by something that alllows the athlete to produce more weight force possible,,that is at the base of acceleration, and ,important, the way to transfer all (not a part) of this weight force to other leg. so if you perform this sled training ,even if there is maximal contraction of such muscles, there is a subtraining of the transfer of this weight force. NOTE. if would be a matter of overload, then a culturist could be more speed of any sprinter since he could lift a weight so high that any sprinter could only stop. So it is clear that this exercise is performed and produce some results only because ,in some way help to improve the stregth and by other side only the sprinters that havealready elevaed musscular capacity. but not all people have such capacity. for most of sprinter this exercise could improve only in way limited,a part the fact that does not teach the technic, nor reproduce even any fraction of the motion(unless someone would try to compell that this struggling as slow sled running is a real emulation of the sprint)
Look at the Reynier mena😂 training in Benfica🦅 "Portugal club "
I would love to see the articles you presented in the video. Please put a link to all references for all of us to view.
added them now
💚💨
2 minutes win long enough. Wish these vids were like 8 mins.😭😭
How I get faster with a smaller stride
Please can you provide bodyweight(calisthenics) options for those of who aren’t around a gym
You can do Push ups, pull ups, squats high reps and sprint short distances 3x a week
can you do a video with a bunch of strength training for sprinting with no equipment
Yes it's on my list
Yeah make sure you combine strength training with power movements. Adding 200 pounds to your squat won't make you any faster if you're not doing enough sprinting or power movements like bounding. I learned that the hard way.
Week workout for 11 seconds 100 m
First 🔥
Nah I was first lol
fourth

Is there a video to work on starts.

Car pushing. Use a light car. Or 2 people
hill sprints
Bro how to do low heel recovery
Y'all want a video on that? That's easy
@@TheSprintProject_ yes that would be great
@@TheSprintProject_ yes bro

You needa train your hamstrings too bro…
Got exercises in other videos for that
i know that vastus lateralis is important...
but the glutes...😏 0:18
you either have fast twitch muscle fibers or don't. no amount of training will significantly improve your speed compared to someone who is genetically superior in this category.
2 minutes .
Another unfortunately... power cleans are not a safe way to train and don't offer much benefit, jump squats are better
