I somehow like how the green algae is building up on the wood, makes it look more natural. . If you're adding Otos to remove it, maybe having some moss on the woods will retain the natural effect.. but moss is another thing to maintain and clean. Plus I'm not entirely sure if it'll work without co2 . But all in all, it's looking real nice and pretty.. Was waiting for new video throughout the weekends!
I'm loving the green algae too. But yes, im getting otos to help out with it. Was thinking of getting neo shrimps as clean up crew but I read somewhere saying CPDs might attack them so not worth risking them. I was hoping the tripartita would grow faster in water but they perform better outside the tank as shown. Lol.. Yes, i wanted to release it over the weekend but couldn't find the right music for it. Think the 2nd music fits really well with the video now. Thanks for the comment, Eri! I appreciate it. As they say, "like and share". 🤭😁
Yessss! You used rotala blood red like i requested, although i bave a question, why isnt it bushy? It seems to be more leggy, like the space between the leaves seem to be allot!
Hi, Jude! Yes, nice observation. Ain't as "bushy" as the 'Dutch Scape'. Guess i didn't planted as much but I'll work on it over time. The trimmings will be used to get that bush. 😉 Hope you enjoyed this video. 😊
@@MSAquascaping Absolutely, otocinclus is a great choice, but I think a pleco is even better and more effective for dealing with algae. I hope your issue gets resolved soon!
Thank you, Martin! I used a normal Hang On Back (HOB) filter for a while to cycle the tank n removed it once tank is fully cycled. Same as how I do for the other aquariums. 😊
Beautiful shallow tank! The Malayan driftwoods look amazing in it! Great job! 👏 👏
Thank you! Yes, I'm loving the Malayan driftwoods too. This is my biggest aquascape so far. 😁
❤ sehr schön, Grüße aus Deutschland 🙋🏻♀️

@MSAquascaping but why the distance between the leaves?
Great job on the shallow tank aquascaping, brother! However, it looks like the green algae is quickly taking over the entire tank.
Yup, it is! I'm gonna get some otocinclus to help with this 💪🏼😎

Not into plecos... yet. 🤭😁
