quite insightful conversation, sometimes obsession makes people cross oceans for someone who wouldn't jump puddles for them. Trying hard to look for good in people whose bad side is glaring, in religious sector sometimes they are told to persevere , pray, fast give an offering for them to come back.

Lily, you answered my question before I asked: I thought I needed a conversation with someone I was emotionally attached to in order to get closure. You are right. Every "closure" conversation is a reopener. Moving on needs a cut and dry separation.
