I started missing Crete and especially Hersonissos since I was born and raised there but now I live in the UK and I wanted to show to my boyfriend how the sea side of Hersonissos looks like and found my self recognising everyone in the Tavernas and restaurants especially some friends too!!! thank you for sharing this video!!!

Great video. Where is the beach at starting point please? We are staying at Ida Village I&II soon and wondering what you think might be the best beach for small children. Within walking distance?
Me and my family (I'm 33, partner 30 and 2 children 15 and 10 are looking to head to Greece in August. We've been considering heading to Hersonissos however we're a bit unsure on the night life. Is it aimed more towards younger couples/singles? Or would we be ok as a younger family?

Interesting video. Hersonnisos is actually nicer than I imagined it to be. It is still much too big for me to want to stay there though. I prefer smaller, more traditional Greek places.
I see people just live their motorcycles on the street. I want to rent motorcycles so I want to know if is it safe to do that. Or we should let in on a close Parking?

And there was a Restaurant at Main Street called "La Piscine" with beautiful indoor fountains... Would you be so kind to find out where ir was , and what is in there now . heartbreak...lived there for three years, thought about going back. thanks for video. from a quaint village to another run of mill tourist trap. sad for me but at least there now is money to be made...cultural cost for economic gain. double bladed. progress i guess.
