After pruning trees all day nothing better than seeing a pro at work. Of course we want to see the 562 buck that tree! Thanks for the video Buckin and have a nice day everyone 😊
good morning Tinman, between you and Billy I've learned so damn much and I thank you both very much. My newest saw is a 365 xtorq and I've done a base gasket delete and Dremeled out the side plate baffles. Squish test said almost 20 thou using Permatex Motoseal. Running a 24 and 36 inch bars with premium fuel and Maxima Formula K2 synthetic oil at 45:1. Runs great. Next up will be some porting and I've watched a lot of your videos about timing etc so I can't wait to see what comes of this. Thank you very much for all your videos and experience.
Filing is everything.I`ve been on the forest working from 2010 and using chainsaws and clearing saws daily bases and if you have dull chain or dull blade on your saw you can not do you work. That`s a fact.Your filing videos bring the absolute right truth about filing and how you get the saw bite the dust right. Thank you for your knowledge. My working has been getting better as i watched these filing videos and making my filing like you tell people to do. Thanks for everything.
I'm not a Husky guy, but no denying, this saw is a powerhouse. I'm sure the "Buckin' File" has something to do with it, but still, very impressive for a 60cc saw! Thanks Buckin'!
You gotta admit to are starting to fall in love with that thing !!!. For a 60cc saw I can’t believe how much wood ive cut over the years with mine. And at the end of the day I’m still fresh.
I love your videos BBR! Even though you say your channel was never about teaching how to fall trees, you put out the best content on how to videos on falling, sharpening, and just down right entertaining. I am just a hobby logger on my own property and man you have helped me a ton! It’s great to have solid advice from a veteran professional instead of the you tubers that watch a few videos, then put out their own content and it’s obvious they don’t know what they are doing. God bless you and family 😊
Why are folks so surprised that a 60cc saw is capable? They have been since the 034 super and possibly even before. Can’t say as the super was the first good one I bought sometime in the late 80’s I believe. Heck the old 562 was a good powerful saw, just a little light on the crank bearings if you abused it. 👍🏼
Very appropriate title sir… lots of folks want ported saws, but sharpening is so much more important, and if port work is on the high end, it’s even more important so you don’t go “boom no cut”. You have helped so many, including me with sharpening with a file… THANK YOU!
When I was watching you clear the "brush" from around that tree all I saw was poison oak, but I'm in northern California and hopefully BC isn't as infested with that infernal vine
Yes indeed Buckin would love to see the rest of that log get bucked always interested in seeing how you do things! I have learned so much from you thanks for the video!
Heck yeah that sister C works well!!! I was a recipient of a free hat from the ole Buckin store on the live feed, what an honor!!! This community is just flat amazing Mr. Billy Smith...just amazing..love you all!!
Great to see ya Buckin on the stump , as always good read of the fall of the tree before you begin to cut. I love ya brother, ya be safe God bless you and yours. Love 😊 Wins. ❤
Really liking the muffler mods. I'm watching Buckin, Ironhorse and the others for ideas to open up the muffler on my OEM 281xp. Have several Huskys including the original 372 but the old girl is still my favorite and loves a long bar. 😁
I’m loving the sharpening videos, completely has changed the way I file and has made my saws so much easier to use! I got every size of file just to try to replicate what the man BR does
As much as I enjoy watching your videos it really hurts seeing those wonderful saw logs being cut into firewood. Thanks for the great videos hope you have a great day!
You've really got me considering one of those saws. I don't really need another saw that size, but it looks fun. I definitely enjoy lon videos of straight tree buckin. Show thw whole tree, please!
Dang i want that saw. I'm supposed to be cutting down a bunch of maples, and a couple pine tomorrow. But i ain't got a saw nomore. My cheap crappy homelite is done and gone to chainsaw heaven.
Imagine if buckin falls in love with this saw and settles down a little bit from running big saws 🤔 could this become his new "go to saw"????? I think the 562 has found a special place in his heart🙂
Absolutely I'd love to set some more of that 562 cutting! I'm also getting some ideas of a possible change in my grind. Curious, but how's the durability compare to EXL/EXJ chain?
Hey Buckin', can you find a way to fell a few trees and show us the undercut side as it falls? We hear how important getting the right upper and undercut are, the use of a Dutchman and how and why to open up a notch. But we rarely actually see what happens in the notch itself when the tree falls. We normally only see the back side of the tree as it falls.
Great video Buckin, as always. Do you think you could do something for me and im sure others? I would love to see a side by side video of the "sister c" and a normal file with a 7/32. I'm curious as to how much faster it would cut. I know you did a video comparing out of the box chain but most out of the box chains are not to there full potential.
Hi Billy, A Question. Have you ever tried carbide tipped chains??? I have not. Are they better? Do the teeth stay sharp significantly longer? Do they cause more stress on the chain saw? Do they cause the saw to bog down? Do they cut smoother? Are they significantly more difficult to resharpen? Billy, maybe some of your others viewers would also like to also like to know your expert opinion on the pros and cons of carbide teeth chains. Maybe an episode on carbide teeth chains in the future?
Normal 4 and 6 year old children wake in the morning and put on cartoons if they watch tv. Nope not mine!!! Hey Daddy look its buckin Billy ray on RUclips 😂😂😂absolute gold!!! My little ones are searching you Billy Ray 😎😎😉😉😉✊✊✊✊✊love it
Question... How are you guys finding vintage splitting axes? So far, I've had no luck on eBay. Plenty of vintage plumbs and Kellys, but none of them are splitting profiles. I really want a nice splitter to put on one of my hand made handles.
Yard sale season is approaching as well as flea markets keep them peepers peeled they're out there right place right time good deals await you sir ✊✊😉😉😎
Have you heard anything about a 572 mk2 coming out. I have noticed Husqvarna a lot of the 5 series is on there second or third generation except the 572
Buckin. Quick question. Im bucking logs that are full of sand from being in the river. Does the angle of the top plate provide some relief to the sand embedded in the wood? Is a steeper angle more likely to dull faster? Im running full house full chisel Stihl chain. Spending so much time sharpening. Any advice would be appreciated and get this done faster with less sharpening. Thanks in advance. Ive gone back to the 7/32” round file instead of the 3/16”
I have no clue how you get away with not getting anything in your eyes... even when I make sure I'm not throwing anything towards my face I will get something in my eyes...I always have to wear safety glasses
I just got tagged in the eye yesterday while working my chainsaw, and I had my Milwaukee safety glasses on. Somehow, a chip came flying in under my left side, and it is hurting like h?ll. I might go into the doctor today.
A commented this on another 562 vid of yours. With that much bar on a 562 you should try skip tooth chain. The out of the box c85/c83 is too hungry for that saw, Husqvarna recommends a 20 inch bar on a 562 for a reason. With most any full house 3/8 chain on a 28 you will have to sharpen it to make the drags higher.
After pruning trees all day nothing better than seeing a pro at work. Of course we want to see the 562 buck that tree! Thanks for the video Buckin and have a nice day everyone 😊
Morning everyone
good mornin '
Germany ...no
Howdy Tinman!

always such fun to watch the joy you get out of felling a tree and passing on you knowledge. thanks for sharing...and caring.

Great capture Vartan. Right in the pickle barrel Buckin
Absolutely we want to see that. Can’t get enough of the 562 mk2.
"Use the internet - don't let it use you." Good advice. Thanks!
Oh that was beautiful leaving the stump!!!!
I’m loving the sharpening videos, completely has changed the way I file and has made my saws so much easier to use! I got every size of file just to try to replicate what the man BR does

I agree for the size and newness of that saw it is impressive. Husqvarna 👍👍
You are a how-to channel. How to be a good, kind, and caring person. I also perfected hand filing because of you.
All I buy is 5/32 I use on all sizes. ❤🎉 it buck snorts in all different types of wood. .25 raker mostly.
Great video Billy I like watching you cut that tree down but I must say that I like the pick up truck in the background @12:24
That saw runs and cuts excellent for a 60cc saw.
Nice job on the tree. Thanks for sharing the tips.
My echo 620 will beat it.
Hello...in Germany it is now Saturday 8:45 p.m.
So a cozy evening meal, there are cutlets and fries.
Greetings to everyone Peter.
What kind of meat is a cutlet in Germany? Here in the United States it’s chicken.
@@jeffroberts760 Our schnitzel is made from pork.

Dang i want that saw. I'm supposed to be cutting down a bunch of maples, and a couple pine tomorrow. But i ain't got a saw nomore. My cheap crappy homelite is done and gone to chainsaw heaven.
Yes, please show the bucking. I am curious how to approach the job, considering most of the tree is suspended.
Your 562 saw runs almost like a ported saw Buckin!🤩🤩
I want to see bucking that Fir BBR!!!. Nice video as usual. Thanks man.
Been loving the 5/16 file for a while now. It rips.
Imagine if buckin falls in love with this saw and settles down a little bit from running big saws 🤔 could this become his new "go to saw"????? I think the 562 has found a special place in his heart🙂

Won’t hurt my feelings at all! I emphatically know my filing could be better. I am working on it!

Nice chain comparison! Just goes to show how important the sharpness and geometry of a chain is. It's the cheapest power you can find!
That saw is rippin!!! Great video! 👍
Always! Been here since 200 love ya man!
It sure is good to see you back on a power saw! Love you all! ❤️✊
Striving to be sharp in all things in life.
Loving this video series Buckin❤

Absolutely brother show it all
Someone pulled out in front of me & hit me head on.
My Dad is worried his knee might have a set back.
I have said for years I can make a brand new Chan cut better than out of the box .
What do you think of the Arbortec trousers? I see you wear them quite often. Great channel by the way. 👍👍
this is a beautiful machine
Hi Billy,

My kids know joe Rogan and buckin billy ray lol. Like they are family
be kind
You look like a Kamloops country boy with the underbrush, or not quite Willy's puddle.
