  • Installed my new DeatschWerks DW400 LPFP in my 2014 F150 EcoBoost! And learned how to remove the bed on my F150 at the same time! This DW400 Mod helped me get more fuel to the engine during low RPM High load conditions. Normally wouldn't need this running Pump gas but on my full E85 tune we needed just a bit more fuel delivery to the XDI-35 HPFP at low RPMs. Now that its in, I am good to go with all and anything fuel system related! Unless I decide to fully build my truck in the future!

Great video and great job! I was thinking of dropping the tank but I like this method better! Word of caution though, I was always told to use nonsparking tools (like brass) when removing fuel sending units. One spark with a metal bar or hammer could be disastrous! Keep up the great work!

how do you know how deep to set the pump, so that the sock is on the bottom, but not crushed?

The camera makes it look like the bed wasn’t 2 million lbs 😂

The main pump is the HPFP, thats the big limiting factor when you upgrade turbos or turn up the boost..... if you plan on going Stage 4 or Stage 5 Turbos. Id say invest in the XDI-60 HPFP rather than the XDI-35.
